I like this. I really like this.....but I don't think I need it.

That was until I read about the moving Chewie mouth. :-/

Apparently this set is priced the same as ANH Han&Chewie by HT in HK. So importing is to blame for price increase.

Yeah, that and the fact we keep paying more and more each time. I see people complain about the prices everyday and then pay it.

It's not really even that close. But if it works for you that's all that matters.

Its 100% close.

You just used a picture where he's smiling instead of one that where the expression matches the sculpt.

Why do people show random pictures of HF and then compare it to the sculpt. People look different when they have different expressions.

When I look at this photo of ford and the figure sculpt it's completely dead on.

Don't see how anyone can dislike that Han head. One of the best and most accurate I've seen!

Ugh I wish they at least tried to improve Chewbacca...I want him so badly in my collection but they look so bad...

Definitely tempted to get this set just because the Han Solo sculpt is amazing and the best Harrison ford likeness out there period. Chewbacca looks a bit better like I stated and like it more then the first version released. both I honestly like this time around over the first released ANH Version. I need more Star Wars in the collection. At the moment I only own the ANH Luke.

Han looks really good. I am more than happy with my ANH Han. I'm trying to stick with characters from the OT only, with a few exceptions.

I'm not paying it. We all need to rebel. Not just complain and then roll over. The price for a 1/6 scale action figure currently is the price we used to pay for a premium format figure and, the quality is pretty poor lately.

I think Hot Toys is pretty consistent with quality. I'm not really sure why these are more than the originals though. There aren't that many extra pieces to really justify the increase in my opinion. Still want these though but I'll probably wait until it's coupon eligible or maybe use reward points.

The only real difference is the movable mouth and bandage.

I read somewhere that Chewie tosses him a brown coat when they leave the base, and that's why Han looked at him funny, but unless they changed it for the BluRay, still no. . . his coat is blue.

Hahaha I have not thought about this since i saw it in theatre (first day). I thought there was something to this scene. A fan service...but it was so quick I couldn't tell if the coat was brown or navy. Made me laugh regardless.

Anywho...I am all in for the Chewie. I am in the minority and actually really like the TFA and TFA Hot Toys version. I find in ANH he's a little too lanky looking, TFA a lil bulkier. And the fur seems a bit more polished (albeit a lil like he went to the salon and got his hair did). Skipping on Han tho...Chewie alone breaks my "only villains" rule for SW.

The old Han...I don't know. I'm not as much of. Fan of it. Of course I see Harrison...but in the movie I could still see old Indiana Jones and Han Solo in Fords acting and expressions. I find that is missing in the static head sculpt. I have the Unmasked Robocop and ppl have likened the quality of this Han to the Peter Weller likeness and I just cannot agree. Maybe it's me who just can't picture Harrison looking that old...his acting in the movie ripped my thoughts right back to him in his prime (maybe he never stopped being in his prime [emoji204]).

I'll pass on Han...

You may have read that in the TFA thread. That was my mistaken impression.
