To be fair: It is fair not be a jerk!

I take it you're voting for Bernie. I remember my first paint up--it sucked. I posted it here in the custom thread and received some advice-I got better in time. Most likely he did not think it belonged to a member here. Never stop making the things you enjoy.

wow, those pics Cavlcade posted look terrific.

I am sorry to ask again, but if anyone can point me in the right direction for tips or some kind of tutorial, on how to weather and dress my Kato jacket... that would be much appreciated.

It is still "as new", and has that "suede" feel to it. I have to use dressing on it...

Very nice!

Cavlcade, is that the Kato shirt as well? How do you like it? I have an opportunity to get one.

Hey thanks, yeah I love the Kato shirt, very fine and fits well onto the DX chest. A work of art.

posted this, one page back:

Hey Parra, just spotted this.
Just apply sparingly with your fingers, it may appear clammy at first but leave it for 24 hrs then give it a wipe with a lint free cloth (old t-shirt will do).
If you weather the jacket with sandpaper in advance then the dressing will 'cure' the weathering to some extent, best to do any weathering until after the dressing has had a chance to settle in.

Above all, 'softly, softly, catchee monkey' - remember the dressing will take away the suede appearance permanently, you won't get it back to 'as new'.

Feel free (I'm not on FB)

Here's a full body, excuse the lack of web belt. Last one of the day.

Hey, that's Indy!

These boards are so funny. Last year I made passing mention of how low the quality was on a recast head I bought from eBay and was angrily attacked for days by a certain longtime board member for even that quick mention of a recast head. And now here's a whole thread full of members singing the praises of a recast head from eBay without a word of criticism.:rotfl

But anyway, that Indy head looks <censored>! <censored emoji>

Hi Kuat of Kuat
Thank you for your compliments! I am very flattered that you think that this is the best TOD Indy EVER!
Yes I am the so called "artist" of this piece. I know that does not live up to your quality, but hey I am an amateur collector. I thought it was a fun job to do. Why do you have to dump it like this??!! I dont understand. It is not a professional job I know that, but at least I gave it try.
But I guess that you´re just some white trash sitting in your trailor park, producing low quality meth, just to afford some collectibles..... It is really sad that you had to represent it like this. Why couldn´t you just write me a personal message on ebay and give me your opinion there? My seller name is : bugmansmountainrangers . But instead you are the Comedian here on SS freaks. Congrats mate :clap

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

Been busy with a big order in the meth lab. Not to mention the gas cylinder explosion that took out the front end of the trailer.

You completely misunderstood me. Ebay was lucky to be able to display this wonderful piece of naïve art in their gallery.

It's the kind of art that should be shared and enjoyed...

You really get a sense of the passion behind it, the love for the character, and the fine attention to detail.

Have you considered turning professional? It worked for Picasso.

Can you post a full recipe for the outfit?

Who me?

Well anyway it's.
Jacket: Kato E. second run
Shirt: Kato E. first run
Pants: Kato E. first run
Bag and strap: HT DX
Holster: I bought 2nd hand - always assumed it was MFisher, but someone else told me it looks like a Steveo's Toys one.
Gear Belt uses HT buckle and real leather.
Whip was from Goldwingreg who used to sell them on eBay.
Boots are HT.

That's one cracker of an Indy. I'm not sure the holster is a SteveO, I have one of those and there are differences. The closing tab on yours looks to go over a flathead nail where the nail on mine is more rounded and the stitching on yours looks different. It could be a different run I suppose.
