I totally agree. NECA probably could have done a much better job on an Armoured Batman too. They have a good history with armoured 1/4 figures.

I honestly think this figure show have been delayed or something to get better done to it much like teh Bale figure did... I may get this... but not at full price I will wait for an sale or something.... Maybe they will make an V2 who knows. Doubtful but you never know.... I'll stick with mezco for my affleck Batman I guess

Yea, I'm gonna stick with the Mafex one. I have a feeling this Affleck Batman was sort of rushed out to get it out while the film is still in theatres.

Yep should of waited for the DVD release that way they ahd more reference or whatever... But I guess not all of thier Batman's can't be an knock out of the park... Still 5 great Batmans out of one bad one(Affleck) Isn't too bad.... But maybe once someone give sit some TLC I'll change my mind.

I can guarantee this was rushed... You can just tell it was rushed... Look at all their past Batmans mostly flawless. Which is an damn shame too. As i said I would of preferred the Armored Batman as alot of other people would of as well.

Yeah, opposite world. Nolan TDK suits... Crap in movies, cool as toys. Now we have a Batsuit that was perfect in movie, but problematic as toys.

The Jakks stuff is still pretty great, though... and the Hot Toys figure is looking solid.

Yeah, I think he looks awesome when bathed in shadows where Nolan's toys look good in plain daylight.

But like DiFabio said, this sculpt looking like post lobotomy electric shock therapy doesn't help either.

NO HEAD MOVEMENT?! I totally thought they were doing it like the Origins Bats. Why wouldn't they do it like that? This isn't Keaton Batman; Affleck can turn his head.

That's what I'm most upset about. Cause now you couldn't even head swap the jakks if you wanted to.

It sounds like I'm just tearing this to shreds. There are definitely good elements to the figure, but it's such a let down. What happened to the awesomeness found in the other Batmen?

This is a bit of a nitpick, but I also think the grey and the gold are too light. The grey should be a bit darker and the gold should be less noticeable.

I also think that Grapnel Gun looks outstanding.

On a side note, instead of getting this I managed to get 66 Bats, 89 Bats, and Origins Bats all BNIB for $210 today. I haven't even taken them out of the package yet but they have already made me go wow, unlike this Batfleck.

Really looked forward to this at first... then I saw the release pics in this thread was very reluctant to pick this up. Figured I'd take a good look at seeing it in person first. Then I saw the video and now I am a little less reluctant. I'll check it out in person when my LTS gets their shipment I guess. Had to put out $105 when I am going to get the Hot Toys one anyway.

I'm amazed most toy companies easily nailed Affleck's likeness -- Hot Toys, JAKK's Big Figs, even (slightly) Mattel's Multiverse BVS, etc. but NECA is having a tough time with the head sculpt.
