It's fair enough. When i read his post, i went straight to Sideshow to check and see if the Delorean was on waitlist myself. My plan has always been to pick up a spare PT1 Delorean so(Just in case the PT2 never gets a release), i can do the folding wheels mod myself. I was panicking for a minute, lol.

Yea sorry about that guys, was in a rush typing it before heading out at the time, did not make it clear. Yea its the Marty Mcfly I'm sell now, after hearing problems with the delorean, not continuing with the lineup which is a shame. It's not a risk I am taking with a piece so expensive

I put some color changing led strips on the top and bottom of my tank. I'd like to put a background in there. The one of the mall parking lot someone posted is pretty cool. I'd like one that shows the Clocktower. As far as the adapter for the car I didn't have any issues. I was curious about the +/- polarity thing too and ended up just crossing my fingers and it worked.

That looks great! Can I ask you what adapter did you use? Don't know what is the correct one to buy for this thing.

I got one of these. Seeing as I didnt know if the end would fit, i thought this would be better. it sticks down a bit further but is fine...

Guess I'll keep the background theme going.

Finally got my movie poster wrapped canvas in 12x18 today, but I'm going to send it back. The color is really off. Contrast seems too high and the wrap was overlapping on the edge.

I'll have to consider a custom printing service that will do it in that size since the shelf is about 18" tall. Looks alright though I guess with the warm dioder lighting, but terrible in brighter light.

Marty won't really fit, so he'll have to sit on the Detolf shelf close by. I'm still waiting on a custom acrylic case to slide in there, and I'm going to try to make the front section magnetic and removable.

Thanks. If anyone is interested in the background photo, it's not a high-res picture file since the movie was made so long ago. This was a 1080p rip I think and the image is already a bit blurred without being blown up to a larger size (more noticeable with Marty and Doc than the truck).

It will look out of focus when printed so large, but it works well (better to see in person) since the objects are in the background of the car, which would appear slightly out of focus anyway.
