Yup, it's just I sometimes feel like the tiny mammal scampering around the feet of dinosaurs. I mean in my capacity to pay the $$ this year, the $$$ next year and so on.
I have to use my tiny little brain to figure ways to get more than crumbs.
The price of being a Kia driver in a Ferrari forum I suppose.
If nobody was buying at that price, they wouldn't ask that price because then they'd never make a sale. How much something is worth is how much you're willing to pay for it.

Don't feel too bad. I picked up the Luke Stormtrooper, Nice figure and I have no regrets but because he is "a little short for a stormtrooper" it's hard to get decent dynamic poses from him. - also, I think Farmboy is more versatile for displaying with other characters. Stormtrooper Luke is begging to be displayed with a Stormtrooper Han...and that leads to the slippery slope of needing another Chewie and another Leia in order to have a "Deathstar escape" display....
I'm sort of drowning in Luke's now too....picked up X-Wing Luke and already had Farmboy.
I was so close to buying Luke but passed. Regretting it now

It's irritating as hell that we have to wait this long to pair up stormie luke & han but I would imagine han will be a toy fair exclusive this july, same as luke last year. 15 or so months to pop on a headsculpt
That is unless hot toys alters the sculpt and nails the Ford likeness, then I take back what I said about being annoyed

I'm an idiot. I was having a hard time getting the plastic wrap off of Leia's boots and used a scissor. The scissor got caught on the bottom left corner of her dress without me realizing and a tiny corner got clipped off.
. Luckily I have some fabric glue and was able to put it back on but still pissed at myself.

Almost happened to me too. The plastic wrap is so tight and it's on everything. I almost posted something about it but thought I was the only one. The hands were almost impossible to free. And you're all excited to get the fig on display, so you're not fully paying attention.

I should have just detached the feet like I normally do if I'm having a hard time. Overall it's somewhat noticeable but doesn't look too terrible. When I display her I'll probably just try putting someone in front of that part.

Yeah, the fact they just tossed that Han smiling sculpt into the background of a show dio says they abandoned it and are creating an all-new Han sculpt. There's no other explanation for how that unique head was just thrown away.

Currently I am trying to decide between the Hot Toys farm boy Luke or Princess Leia. I can only get one for now..possibly will never get both. I've seen Luke in hand, but from the pics of Leia, the likeness is definitely more there in the head. But on the plus side, Luke comes with so many different looks you can create. So........if you can only get one, which would it be? By the way, if it makes any difference, I have the Hot Toys Han, Chewie, Kenobi, Sideshow's R2 & 3P0. I know, I know, I really need both to complete the original 7.

Yikes! Yeah, that plastic around the ankles is tricky. I usually just cut a line or gently rip the plastic apart until I get to the plastic ring, then I gently snip that ring. Smooth sailing from there.

It might happen because I only want two Hans, two Leias and two Lukes. I already have ANH Han and Hoth Luke. I'll definitely be getting Bespin Han, Slave Leia and Luke Jedi. So that leaves ANH Leia, Hoth Leia and General Leia..and I favor the later two. But..they may never make those. Plus it has to do with setting a limit on these very expensive collectibles. 1/6th isn't the only thing I collect; plus I'm married with two kids and a mortgage. So budgeting this pricy addiction is key.

..So I take it you'd go with Leia over Luke. Cause damn, that likeness is ****in amazing! And I could care less that the dress isn't long enough or doesn't drape perfectly. By any chance, would you post a picture of your Leia with the hood partially on? Like not completely pulled all the way as far as it goes. Cause I know Leia wore it barley; kind of like Kenobi had it barely draped over the top of his head. I'd love to see how that look is pulled off.Hands down HT's best SW sculpt....

If that's the case then definitely skip this Leia. The other two Leias you're considering are much more interesting visually. However, you'll probably be waiting quite a while for either of those two Leias. Although today's announcement of Yoda makes it hopeful that HT is starting the ESB figures.
But really, you should get both ANH Leia and Luke since you're so close to finishing up the set. A year or two from now, or even after you have both ESB and ROTJ Leias in your collection, you're going to look at the almost complete ANH group and think, "damn, I should have gotten the ANH Leia."
