Nice.....RS definitely the best armour makers around. How did you display yours was it with a mannequin or home built?

Nice Stormie, jkno. Do you have two full Stormtroopers now?

I may have to look into this RS ST after they finish my Boba Fett. Their work is as impressive as always.

How long have they been working on your Fett lid?

Not their lid, just their ROTJ armor. They said last week my armor should be getting ready to ship, no later than this Monday. Can't wait for it.

Speaking of helmets, I have a GMH Fett I've been waiting for since last Oct, so I've been trooping with my MR bucket in the meantime. I'm also waiting for LW to finish my Scout Trooper bucket and I'm in run #3 for RS, so I'm very much looking forward to seeing how they compare to each other.

Thanks for that, I took a look and they still do them and for a decent price

Dday aka Phoenix Props is making a run of cool flexible mannequins similar to mine on RPF and FISD.

Very cool! I do like RS Prop Masters products.

Thanks my friend

The SDS armor I usedd to have for 5 years already will be sold to a friend in my country for an excellent price.
The RS armor seen above was from an EU friend who had an extra ABS kit. He needed some money and asked me if I'm interested in him building it for me for the price of the RS Armour & Helmet Kit, which is insanely good considering how much RS asks for their commission which is not as good as this (the Scout they assembled for me had quite a few assembling issues, besides the crack in the chin). So I got full ABS RS Stormie helmet and armor professionally build by a 501st member, all the parts, original strapping system, RS COA and stuff, express airmail shipping with tracking, and even a RS cap. Couldn't pass on a deal like this. :)

Oh no! You had to return your Scout lid to RS due to issues? Now I'm freaking out! I'm in run 2, & still have not had it shipped. I heard they had issues, but was waiting on you to get yours, & to hear your thoughts on it. I hope they up their QC. I do not want to return this thing - once finally received.

The visor didn't fit well on sides and it had 2 cracks on the chin. I still have my Scout lid packed ready to be shipped back to RS as soon as they say the word - though I'd rather destroy it like Sideshow does after getting replacement due to high shipping costs, but I'll do as RS prefers. But besides the fact RS said they will send replacement, no other message from them. This was another reason, besides the professional and caring assembly, and also much lower price, for which I went with my friend's assembly of the RS Stormie armor instead of a direct RS commission.

I also did a tiny upgrade on the RS helmet. Years ago when I got my TE2 Stormie lid from a US 501st member, he also included a set of solid welding lens next to the accurate flimsy acetate ones, so you can put up the one you like more. I had stored the green welding lens inside a big bin with all my parts and greeblies, but now I took it out and put it behind the acetate lens on the RS helmet.

This way if touching the lens they don't get pushed back in the helmet. I could have kept only the welding lenses, since you cannot tell there is a difference unless you touched them, but I preferred to have them both, the acetate on the outside for display and the solid plastic ones on the inside for toughness.

For the mannequin, using both lenses was my best choice - accidentally I pushed the acetate inside the helmet and I had to take the helmet off completely to fix the lens. Now if you look up front you see the acetate lenses, but behind them there is the welding ones that don't let the acetate be pushed inside.
