Out of the selection of Movie Hulks so far, I prefer the first Avengers movie too. This piece is 3000USD plus freight shipping about 500USD so you have to love having a collection of many variations of Hulk as the collector Alfie does which is where the pics originated from.

Yeah I see that... I have many hulks also.. But I wont ever be getting a AOU Hulk. Not unless it was a great piece at a low price. Just not a fan. But this one looks good overall. But yeah Alfie is a much bigger Hulk collector then me :)

All Cinemaquette pieces require actual hair styling. MIB Rosenburg was the same way. They even tell you in the instructions that the hair gets messed up when they place in the box from factory so styling is required. The hair is rooted and regular hair products can be used to style. I guess if you know a stylist, they can make it right.

I really feel we need better pics with good lighting to really understand. Poor lighting can make a beautiful piece look horrible.

That's true in these pics it looks horrible. Hopefully it's just the pics

Too quick to judge due to the pic quality. I would not say the new maquette is better. But I do like the old one better.. So far.

I think this is an ok shot.

But I don't like the pose and I hate the price. To those that do. Congrats :)

Sorry m8... This looks nothing like the Proto IMHO...lol

Raf does have much better pics, but meh, besides the obvious hugeness in size, It doesn't impress me for a $3-4k piece. It's nice looking for sure, but I don't think the hair works for me.

So far there's way too much difference in the proto type and final piece given how expensive it is but then again we need better pics to compare

Yes not fair with flash photos in poorly lit room... Even if it comes out like the proto.. This is not worth the price IMO :) But I have some hard feeling about the source material.

so did your opinion change?

Not really... It's nice. It's just not 4000.00 nice to me. The mold looks a bit different in the photos from proto to production but it could be the hair.

Again I want to stress If I was a fan of the film and liked the Hulk in that film I would have been tempted to get this. The movie and the Hulk (both in look and character) in that movie was a big let down so this did not really stand a chance with me. Too many bad memories :lol

But I bet it looks awesome in person. If any one can get that hair to look good it will be way better... I am sure Raf will.

I saw the photos on FB last night and I was not impressed, I thought I would have been wowed but sadly not. The thing I don't like the most is the right foot as there is no separation between the toes and it looks weird. The proto doesn't seem to look as bad as I think the paint makes the digits look more separate. Like others have said it's not fair to judge on one set of bad pics so I will wait until it's in hand. The hair looks terrible but fixable, I had it with the Lycan bust when I took it out the box it needed some TLC to get it looking right.

I have to pick this up from my LCS but looking at the boxes it will be 3 trips as I have an Audi A5 Sportback which is pretty big inside but the back curves down so I think only 1 box at a time will fit. At least I don't have to pay for crazy shipping prices which is a bonus.

Never judge with average pics , also I own a few statues with real hair and they never look like they do in photos ,with a bit of patience the hair styling will look like the one seen at comic con.
