The audio is horrific, especially the skull crushing sounds. Poor whoever it is. :'(

Btw, AMC is pulling the audio. They shut down TSDF's FB page and pulled some other links like the zippyshare files on the previous page.

616 summary:

We expect more spoilers before Sunday night, but wanted to share these right away.

* The RV will indeed be the vehicle they will use to go to Hilltop. However, they will be ambushed by Negan's people on every road they take, and in the end they will get out of the RV and try to get to Hilltop on foot.

* Eugene volunteers to continue driving the RV and trying to fool Negan's thugs into following him. He gave Rick a recipe for making bullets before he went to drive the TV, and it seemed like he had a "farewell" type scene with Rick and especially Abraham.

* But Rick's group goes right into the Negan's trap and they are all captured.

* Father Gabriel has actually changed from a coward to a resolute guardian of Judith and Alexandria.

* The Saviors are following Rick and the group to Hilltop.

* Yes, Daryl, Glenn and Michonne were taken to Negan, yes, because in the end of the episode, they are brought to join Rick and the others just before Negan is deciding who to kill.

* Carol - As for Carol, The Savior that found her didn't shoot her or fight her. There is just a lot of talk, but in the end he turns around and starts leaving, but Carol tells him

"What, are you just going to leave? You can shoot me now" or something to that effect. Then he returns and raises the gun, presumably to shoot Carol, but Morgan kills him.

* As far as I can tell, Daryl has no idea about what happened to Carol. More to be addressed later.

* Rosita- to be addressed later

* The Lucille bat death scene, they don't show who is killed. But it is a brutal scene nonetheless.

Not showing who gets killed by Lucille could be the dumbest choice this show has ever made.

Unfortunately I think the cliffhanger will work exactly how they want it to. People will be pissed but they'll all tune in. Next season will probably start by telling the story of the person who planted the tree that eventually became Lucille.

It saves them from having it to be too gruesome for TV.

?

You could still show him grabbing one of the characters, throwing him/her to the ground, and then killing him/her without showing the bat connecting with his/her head. From the sound of it, they're trying to turn WHO dies into a cliffhanger. As in, you won't find out which character got their brains bashed in until next season. Which, imo, is absurd, especially after the obnoxious "is Glenn dead or alive?!" deal we had to sit through.

What's the difference in whether it is filmed in First Person versus him "grabbing someone, throwing him to the ground and killing him without showing the bat connecting with his head"?

They could still film that without showing who the person is.

A lot of it is I'm sure to keep from spoilers getting out. Whether their intentions are to make it a Cliffhanger or not. It still also doubles as a way to save them from making it too gruesome, either way.

And who knows what we will get with the BluRay/DVD release. Supposedly they've filmed the scene two separate ways.

No. They showed walkers getting curbed stomped, this is no different.

Simply put... it makes them more money and gives them higher ratings for season 7.

Walker deaths are in no way the same as a human death. I guarantee you. Lol

Oh, but I'm sure if they are going the Cliffhanger route it is definitely to get for sure ratings for Season 7, unfortunately the cat will likely be out of the bag before it even premiers.

They will show whoever is getting hit in the head in season 7. Nothing bad about. Walkers death vs human death is still similar... both graphic.

Seeing a Zombie die knowing it's a zombie does not have the same effect as watching a living humans face be ripped apart from a barbwire bat. Not on the same level. At all. If you think they are the same, ok...but the reviewing boards for TV would likely disagree with you.

My guess is yes, whenever they do reveal who it is, it'll likely be a aerial view after the carnage with the body laying in a puddle of blood. So yeah they'll show the aftermath, I'd be very surprised if we witness Lucille make contact to the face or head. Maybe from behind.
Filming it POV style I actually think is an ingenious way of doing it. Leaving it up to the viewers imagination is always more horrific than actually showing it on screen.

But... showing someone getting eaten is okay?

It is one of the most iconic scenes in comics, it will get shown, guaranteed.

Surely season 7 will begin with a bit of a rewind. Possible with Negan playing eeney meeney miney mo. I have no doubt we will see that scene from a normal perspective rather than from the FPP.

ANOTHER morsel:
After Negan says ..."IT" the camera switches to pov, after the intial "connecting of bat to poor sob's skull" the camera drops to the ground, blood covers screen, then screen goes black and whats left is just screaming and bashing sounds continue.

Whoever is next to Rick, is "it" as that's what's being speculated due to the eneey, meeney, miney mo...

:lol And people will probably applaud the writers for dedicating an entire episode to the background story of the bat.
