NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

As some of you probably know, series 8 is coming out later this year, and it will have two Dog Aliens, one brown and a new repainted grey version. I was just wondering, which version is more accurate to the film costume/puppet? Is it the brown or the new grey version?

I really hate Randy sometimes...

He's not a bad guy and has done alot for us with the Aliens figures, but granted sometimes we wish that us as fans got better replies and were more involved with the line.

And you know what I'd really like to know? Why the Series 7 Alien figures are already being sold by NECA directly and through Hastings, but BBTS has them still listed as 'April'...

So is the suit/puppet grey/dark brown but the lighting makes it look light brown, or is it light brown and the lighting makes it look grey/dark brown? Or there two different versions regardless of lighting? There's no way I'm buying both.

I typically like to buy how it looked on screen, and to my eyes, it looked brown.

That makes sense. I'll have to do some research, but the brown version seems like the one I'll get when it comes out.

I think it's closer to what you see on screen due to all the lighting. The suit was really something in between NECA's two versions, but I've always preferred the brown tones because it matches what I see in the film. I hope that helps, anyways.

Was finally able hang my new AVP warriors from the ceiling and mount some on the walls. Also, cleared off some space and opened my Ripley, Queen, Eggs, and 3 new blue warriors for a display.
