I have no words for this....though I was compelled to do a Wiki search to see how Englebert Humperdink got tied to this. Interesting read. Ok, I guess I did have a few words for this...

Just got her today. Sculpt truly is one of the best I've seen from Hot Toys. The dress material is a lot lighter than I imagined it was going to be but they could have made it a little roomier to allow it to blouse/billow over her belt more than it does. I'll need to iron out a few wrinkles.

The hood design is kind of strange. It's wired around the front opening but then it's split and wired in the back as well. Not sure why it would be wired or open in the back but the latter must be movie accurate. I'll have to futz with it to see if I can get a nice hood up look. I don't have R2 yet so I may just pose her with Luke, little blaster in hand.

Dio background is still in plastic so I can't comment on that yet. As far as accessories go this is as bare-bones as you can get but all in all she's a great figure. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow. Now that I have the whole ANH crew I can finally take that group shot I've been waiting for.

I have Luke... but I'm not sure about Leia. Her dress... The lower section is like a lamp... But in your pictures It looks better.
I want see her with the hood and with this pose... )))

I tried futzing with the hood but that thing just does not make any sense to me. I'm going to need to see how others work with it before I'm able to make it look halfway decent.

I need a "review" about her dress and articulation... If I decide to buy her, I would like to know is she is "poseable" like her brother, Luke. I'm afraid her dress is like paper lamp or something like that. I don't wanna a weird doll... I hope you understand my english, he he he.

PM Paramore, maybe he can explain if his hood is also open in back. That may be a mistake.

I don't think it's a mistake. It's split in the back and each side is wired.

It's basically a mini skirt. My guess is to cover the body due to the sheer quality of the dress. They also added clear rubbery strips around each leg that attach to the dress to keep it in place.
