Xipotec is out of the the loop on many things. I can understand some of his concerns but he's still stuck on old memes like Miller story, Affleck iz bad, bad cgi, too many characters, etc etc... Nobody is blindly hyped for this here, most people are concerned, mainly due to the hate and bad buzz and not so much for rational reasons. The (real) reality of it is: That is very unlikely that it will be worse than Age of Ultron.

Nothing to be "out of the loop on here". I am calling what I see....

Just watched the last trailer and its the same problems....Batman's fight scene looks terrible...Reminds me or Watchmen where they sort of float in the air before a punch and physics really do not apply.

More REALLY bad CGI, and I mean terrible...Wonder woman in flight....uuugghhhh. Batman jumping off the BatWing, reminded me of Legolas in BOTFA.

The only scenes that looked interesting was Sup's failing at punching Bat's, and Afflecks passionate speech about 1%.

They will get my money, but I cannot see what everyone it hoping for here......looks pretty terrible, and if a trailer cannot make a movie look great...what hope is there really? Looks like more MOS to me.

Just had a quick look at my screening to see how many tickets were left, the VIP is pretty much sold out but the rest of the seats are all still available, barring about 6. Disappointing to see. This is the day after release too.

I don't think this will get anywhere near Star Wars.

This will make buckets of cash.
But I would be surprised if it comes near SW.
Especially outside the US. It seems to cater for a very specific US audience.
People think it's juvenile and silly here in europe in my experience, france will eat it up, they have an appetite for animated comic book craziness.

Maybe after the initial reviews come out positive there will be a lot more interest.
(I'm sure there will be at least some good reviews, it's a big glossy super movie). MOS was the same.

Just checked the cinema here in Dublin out of interest. The main IMAX (only one in Ireland) evening screening is only 3/4 full on day of release. That would be the hardcore fans. Not sure when those tickets went on sale, a couple of days ago?

The Force Awakens was completely booked out in minutes, and for days afterwards.

I called my local theater today to see how many seats were left for their first showing in the XD theater (their largest screen). I live in a decently sized town in Ohio, it's not a huge metropolitan area or anything, but the first Star Wars showing was completely sold out by the time we got around to buying tickets, and Deadpool was packed when I went opening night. Suffice it to say, Batman V Superman being the one I was looking forward to, I had to make sure they weren't sold out. I called and her response was "yep, we still have tickets left." I asked how many; "about 500." I asked how many the theater seated, and she told me "about 560."

To be fair, tickets have only been available for a couple days, but, yeah...I was expecting a little more than that.
