Personally I hope Hot Toys gives us Hoth figures of EVERYONE. Yes, yes, I know Sideshow did Hoth figures, but...

You really can't have too many Star Wars figures.

I'm just going to bump these.

Changed Leia's pose as I wasn't keen on the hand on hip with raised blaster pose, so have now settled on this and I'm really happy with it, looks a bit more natural to my eye Futzed her dress some more and pleased with how that looks now too

So purdy. Thanks for the photos, para! Great to see a head sculpt hit out of the park like this.

@Para - Wow. Anyone who can't find something decent to say about this really needs to think twice about whether figure collecting is the right hobby for them.

I'm not so sure how well this material would suit water treatment. Someone is bound to try it though. As I say, I'm really happy with how mine looks, I deliberatiy pulled it out to sit over the top of her belt. Maybe only thing I'd like is to iron out some creases in the lower half.

And personally when it comes to the gown I think the easiest fix might be just to make the legs a bit shorter. Because while HT might have technically gotten the height correct, if you compare head sizes with the real thing you see that the figure still doesn't look quite short enough for some reason:




At least that's what I'll probably end up doing. And she's already supposed to be pretty short, so an extra 1/4 or so shouldn't make that much of a difference.

Nice work Para. Getting even that little bit of billowing over the belt does wonders. And it looks like you got the dress stretched down closer the the ankles, which helps sell it as well.
Looks like there is still a decent amount of wrinkles on the dress front. The wrinkles on these things can be unforgiving. Took 3 water treatments and 2 ironing to get the wrinkles out of my Vaders cape.
