I still like the first rendition of the WM armor best. This one looks like 2.0 went and had a few too many hamburgers. :lol

I get the original WM but am not a fan of the look of add-on parts...the mix of technology.

I would have probably said the same thing if they weren't already coming out with a die-cast Mark I.

Sorry -- new to the War Machine party here -- was the first Mk I not die-cast? Also, do you have a link to info on an upcoming die-cast Mk I?

Edit: Wait.. is the Iron Man II one the Mk I? For some reason I thought it said Mk II but that's what the AuO one says I think. I'm all confused! :panic:

Mk I was in IM2. The first version was plastic.
Mk II was in AoU (also IM 3 if you count the Iron Patriot).
Mk III will be in CW.

If your looking for info on each hot toys figure the first one in the thread almost always has it. Or go to the sideshow site or hot toys site.

Just a question can this do the landing pose like Iron Patriot if I don't see it in the preview pics I asume it does not have the updated hips any one know for sure?

All three are actually available for sale on sideshows site.

Yeahhh thanks guys. I realized after I asked how silly of a question it was. I was 100% sure there was no way I could get Mk I at this point at retail but there it is. I may have to buy that and Mk III. Thanks again for the answers.

The first properly colored War Machine Mark III toy on the market. :lol

I still think the hot toys figure is closer. The suit isn't supposed to be pitch black. It's more charcoal grey or black-grey. Both widow and BP are noticeably darker in the trailer.

Darker compared to what? They're actually wearing black... I haven't seen a trailer or a bit of promo art with WM3 that looks anything like the HT figure does. But you go ahead and keep defending them. I can't wait to see what excuse you come up with when he actually looks like that in the movie.

So I'm crazy because I think the hot toys version is closer? I didn't say it was perfect I said closer.

And your darker then what question...then the black of their suits. Just look at the picture. Black widows suit is noticeably darker then the paint of the war machine armor. As is BP. And that Titan figure is much darker then the suit from the trailer.

Yeah, I'm just so off base...I mean the hot toys figure is WAY off...and that Titan figure is perfect. (Sarcasm detected)

It may be a look some people like more, but that doesn't mean it's more accurate. The suit as we have seen it (in art and trailers) is no where near that dark.

I'm with Motuxmen on this one, and this will be THE WM of my collection...a good mix of new and old.

I'd be satisfied if they just got rid of the sheen on the darker grey, at least you can agree that it shouldn't have the polished look. .. Maybe that's what's throwing me off with the color. There's gotta be some kind of middle ground, the HTs colors just don't look right to me.

The issue isn't the grey it's the metallic. It's to metallic. The suit in the trailer is a dull metal where both toys have a high polish.

The metal suit in the trailer does seem to have a duller look to it than the figure...I still love this one and I'll add this to go along with the IM2 diecast as the WM's in my collection.
