My 2.5 cents...

Got nearly two years until the next movie. HT will still sporadically release Star Wars offerings in that time... and a Kylo re-release with a Driver sculpt from TFA is almost guaranteed. But it will be missing something, likely the hood.

Not sure why some people think HT will wait for the next installment, which will likely be a whole new look for Kylo.

He's like a "padawan" in this movie. Wait until he finishes his training and gets the cool gear.

He was raw that's for sure. He could deflect blaster beams but yet can't summon a saber to his hand

Unless Sideshow change their mind before Rey is released, yes. All asian and european PO have been shipping HK direct through UPS lately.

HT is never this lazy. Ren 2.0 will be no shawl or hood, Driver sculpt reg and battle damaged . snow and tattered clothing, maybe saber holes in the clothing when Rey hit him with the saber, Vader helmet remains

I never collected any of the Nolan HT Batman figures but I think with each new version that came out there was something slightly different from the next.

Personally, I think the best "Kylo" route is to pick up this figure and then just pick up a Driver sculpt from the inevitable TFA 2.0 version.

If you know you want to pose him without the helmet and without a doubt want to have him dueling Rey to replicate the end scene, then I think 2.0 is the way to go. I'm kind of leaning towards that it will include a helmet sculpt, but I can also see why it wouldn't.

I personally would be more willing to gamble though that the Driver sculpt will be able to fit on this Kylo figure than I would be willing to gamble that 2.0 will include a helmeted sculpt. I think it will, but I can easily see why it possibly wouldn't.

All I know is that I don't plan on displaying him without his mask anyway, so I went with this one.

Sadly I think the hood is gone because they no what he looks like now. No need for him to hide anymore.

Who is "they" Ren's true identity was never a secret in the film.

The hood and scarf are all one piece -- or at least come off as one. I was nervous about it too, thinking the threads held the wrinkles, but they don't and the thing remains completely intact. All my hooded pics are with the replaced hood after removal.

I lightly ironed the tunic to see if I could get creases -- it did not work. Best way to make folds is to wet the material -- spray bottle -- and pinch and tweak the folds yourself and then don't touch it ever again.

Finally getting a chance to really look at this figure....




...and it's really something. So many cool things about it. Really enjoying the tips and tricks (although I haven't been bold enough to try any of them myself yet) along with the terrific photos from everyone...more please.

Never thoght about it until I read your post, but there won't be a unscarred version of Kylo's face unless they release a 2.0 before VIII.

Kylo arrived a few days ago. He's in a box in my basement until I can think of a way to break it to my wife...

Quick question, the box comes with 2 Sabres (1 is the normal unlit version and another 1 is the elbow piece with light up function)? I don't see a separate light sabre piece for him to hang on his belt..

The hilt is the one that fits easily on the belt. All three blades are removable and fit both Saber hilts. The arm with the switch has the saber permanently attached so don't try to remove it.

Also don't try to turn the ignited saber hand, up and down. It only turns left or right. It might pivot a couple degrees clockwise but not fully.

Not to mention the outfit could be totally different in EP8. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing him how guyver (and others) has him up there in the last 2 pictures^ throughout most of that film tbh. It's just a killer look.

No doubt in my mind that there will be another HT Kylo from TFA depicting him without the helmet and whatever else they want to include, but I don't want 3 or 4 1/6 HT or possibly Sideshow Kylo Rens on the shelf. If I'm going to have another Kylo without the helmet, I'd much rather have him from Ep.8 with the scar than have him at the end of TFA. The helmeted look is just too bad-ass to pass up so I picked this version up and will wait to see how he looks in Ep.8 and decide whether to get him then. Hopefully you're right Vortex and that Kylo will look even cooler that this one.
