Really? Man people just hate for hate sake. Even now the early hot toys proto is ten times better then this Barbie.

It's not terrible for what I like to call "Walmart figures", but it still looks completely toylike.

I'd be embarrassed to have that in a detolf.

A question: I've only bought two Hot Toys, and I got them both through Sideshow--despite being in Canada, where Sideshow charges a fairly significant shipping fee. Does anyone know of a reliable online retailer based in Canada for Hot Toys?

I'm not trying to hate and I know the sculpt and paint are obviously better but the suit on the Barbie actually looks better right now. That should never happen with Hot Toys, even on a prototype. Then seeing the Mezco figure with a better suit just added fuel to the fire. That being said, I'm hoping Hot Toys makes all of the nessasary mods to make their Batman look like it jumped off the big screen.

Hot Toys most probably will get it right. The Barbie talk is funny when you consider Hot Toys are essentially a high end doll company. Strip a Barbie and Hot Toys figure down and they're all the same underneath.

Ok. It's decent for a Barbie. But the clearer picture illustrate that it is, BARBIEish.
The material looks like a shiny spandex type.
