I agree they could have, for sure...it would just be huge. I am going to continue going if anyone is interested I have a thread on the customs section you can follow, that way I don't clutter this thread up with my custom work.

That looks very promising, DD. :duff It won't extend and retract, will it? Even if it doesn't, that's still awesome.

I definitely considered it and I still am. Getting the mechanics down could be a nightmare not worth the effort, but we'll see!

THIS is fine custom work I wouldn't mind seeing quoted/posted over and over again.

If this is the same guy I think it is, he's got all custom cabinetry for all his figures and collectibles. It's a pretty killer set-up. I been scouring the interwebs for a proper case like that to display my HT Batmobiles and anything worthwhile is usually for custom work at which cost I can't justify right now.

I just got a custom acrylic made up for me after seeing someone on here with one, I think it was rodesmo.
It came from sora in Germany, completely customisable, you can tell them exactly what you want & they'll do it. I got a reflective back panel & black base. It took an hour to set up as its flat pack. But its huge & looks amazing and the cost wasn't that bad and considering it was posted to the uk. I was really impressed.
They are really good at getting you exactly what you want and reply to all emails fast. Highly recommended

Yeah, I checked them out a while ago. They don't ship to the US, unfortunately. But thanks for the suggestion! I did see Rodesmo's case in the '89 Batmobile thread and I'm envious!

Aw man sorry to hear that. I'd spent just over 6months trying to find a decent display case so I could finally display the batmobile&sora were without a doubt the best at getting exactly what you needed & helping you out with all your wishes.im over the moon with it.
It looks fantastic with & finally getting the batmobile displayed with batman returns in an amazing looking case is a dream
Come true.
Only thing is I'm gonna have to save up for one for the tumbler now tho!!

Closed mouth is the best but there is something about the open one that I really like, helps gives the figure a "real Michael Keaton" look.

The two pack has just shipped from my Canadian retailer. Should have it tomorrow or Monday. Can't wait to finally get this in hand.

Ordering from an outfit calling itself "Toytards" wouldn't instill in me a great deal of confidence. :lol
