The desert gear head wrap with goggles can now be freely put onto Rey’s headsculpt to provide an additional look for our beloved scavenger or have the head wrap cover the whole face to reenact the opening scene of the movie!

Unless I'm reading it wrong, in a way that sounds worse than

Interchangeable head with head wrap and goggles

It would be easier to change her look with a separate head with the wrap and goggles already on, rather than putting the wrap and goggles on the solitary head sculpt.

With this new way you lose a head sculpt that could be used to bash another figure.

Hot Toys is awesome when they add extra stuff. I wonder if they planned the lightsaber from the start and had to wait, or noticed people asking for it.

I'm sure they just had to wait. They had to produce the whole forearm to allow for the lighted lightsaber and they couldn't reuse any of the other arms because none of them were a woman's.

This is a really great set, I'm sure it will be popular.

One thing - does the saber light-up? Their description isn't clear. Because as a "bonus accessory" that'd be pretty involved. Their pictures make it seem like a light-up saber but I'm worried that's just imaginative Photoshop.

I already PO'd this, but very pleased with both these upgrades. The head wrap is more likely to get used now, a second head would have probably stayed in the box after initial swapping on day one. The lightsaber means I can stop stalking TA's update page for the Luke part-out announcement!

this new look is amazing! the neck is too thin to begin with, which damaged the likeness.
with it all covered, the likeness increases dramatically!
