so wait, why does darth malgus matter anymore? He's like... erased, amiright?
Malgus and anything kotor is interesting in my eyes. None of the EU was ever considered canon, fans could pick and choose.
The kotor stuff was approved by Lucas film but it happens so far before the movie stuff it really doesn't matter. The chances of ever see any other official stories around that time period are pretty slim.

But also doesn't Disney now own the rights to those games etc so they can use any of it if they wish.

I'm sure they'll eventually do all but as of right now, there's been nothing. And with Sideshow about to release they Maul later this year, I wouldn't hold my breathe for a Hot Toys version to come out before 2020:lol An ROTS Anakin is my #1 most wanted figure though.

And Sideshow made a Darth Malgus a few years ago.

SSC releasing Maul this year has no bearing on when HT will do their Maul. The two companies don't have a shared production plan, they operate independently of one another.

:exactly: Somebody else could buy the rights down the road and make kylo ren not canon anymore and I would still like him. I collect characters I like and them being approved canon doesn't make them better or worse in my eyes, a good character is a good character, and malgus is one of the best imo.

There's a YouTube video review that has been uploaded this week and the guy states that he got the kylo ren figure early from ssc. I take it they have them in stock?

Talking about the ComicVine video?

Pretty sure we'll see some orders ship out by next week as it will be mid January.

Yeah my local dealer where I ordered from said they're coming very soon. Like in the next week or two it seemed. I seriously cannot wait.

As of tonight, I'm seeing a "pending transaction" from Sideshow on my online bank statement... should be shipping rather soon then, right?

Recaptured the sith home world and destroyed the Jedi temple on coruscant to name a few, I just liked him as a powerful warrior sith, he was very well done in TOR

Wait, Darths have a homeworld...? And who the hell took it away from them?

And how many times does a Jedi Temple get destroyed? I mean, at a certain point, why even bother building one.

You have to remember that the KotOR series of games(and MMO) take place roughly 2000 years before the Prequels.
Originally the "Sith" were more then just dark lords/Evil Force Users, they were their own race of people

So who kicked their asses and took away their home? That's the race I'm interested in.

If I remember the tiny bits of EU stories I've picked up over the years, the Sith had some ancient "homeworld" which is/was the location of the original Sith temple or whatever the equivalent is. It's was eventually abandoned as the planet was essentially dead, being devastated by endless wars. I'm sure someone here will correct me, but that's what I remember. I also think it's different from the homeworld of the actual ancient race of beings called Sith, and that the Sith we know are called "Lords of the Sith" because they enslaved this race and eventually drove them to extinction. It's all very convoluted, and that's about all I can remember of it.
