It's an add on, they wouldn't make extra cash if they allowed you to choose. Allow them to make a few extra bucks.

Sorry, but if company choses to include something that would be considered as a secondary sculpt in the main relese and then a few days later announces the "main" sculpt as the add on charged extra, it is milking it...

You can buy the standard version (that doesn't include the screaming head) that cost a lot less than the deluxe one.
Then buy the expansion head.
In this way the cost will be very similar to deluxe version.

Unfortunately I made the preorder with NRD the first day for deluxe and now if I cancel it I loose more (order was made in UK where NRD is 55 GBP). And the other sculpt was announced one day after my deposit. In my book that is unfair and dishonest.

We decided to make a standard head because many of you asked for an optional head.
You have so many options to choose.
You can buy standard and add the optional head.
You can buy just the kit, the head you like and any kind of body and make your custom version.
Or you can buy deluxe version and extra head to have something 100% complete with many options.
Or if you don't like what we are offering you can just decide to don't buy it at all.

Every company does it man. This isn't a huge company we're dealing with, allow them to create extra revenue with add on's...the more they make allows them to reinvest back into their company and in turn allows them to produce more awesome figures. It's a win-win.

It may be a small company, but they are selling us an unlicensed figure for a not a small price (in the range of Asmus licensed LOTR line for example). So please, Allow me then to raise my oppinion, I am a paying customer.

Nathan, any chance you could email the retailer and just politely say something like "I've preordered this figure, and I don't want to spend less with you or cancel, but could I please order a variation that's coming out?" Then just explain that you'd like the other figure + the new add-on HS. It's worth a go and if they're a good retailer, I can't see they'll have a problem with that.
Even though some have NRD (this is to protect their preorders with manufacturers) but a polite email can sometimes get you out of it, in my experience.

Well I jumped in this thread after ordering the deluex back when it was first offered. My thoughts and memory on the whole second head. When it was first advertised a lot of people asked for an alternate sculpt. They said that if this set did well enough and there was enough demand they would look into doing an additional sculpt. While I would love for this other sculpt to be included I would never expect them to. They went out on a limb and decided to go ahead with the additional sculpt even before their first one is released. It means that even if the first release does not sell as well as they hope we may still be able to get this sculpt and we will probably not end up waiting as long for it since they are not waiting to see how well the first release sells. I do not think it is right to say they were dishonest since from the very beging they state this sculpt would be separate. Milking it, maybe but look at the endless variations of Iron Man, Batman, Darth Vader etc. I cannot get too mad at a company for trying to get multiple sales as long as they are upfront on what is included and what is not.
How can a person not take that personally?

The neutral head is a seperate product, i preordered the full set with screaming head because thats the product, its what i wanted so bought it, just like everyone else who ordered. Theres nothing scetchy going on with KP.

The expansion head sculpt looks fantastic. I've got to figure this out since I already have the Iminime Wallace. I think it has two warpaint heads so the expansion might be just the ticket and I don't have to look for anything parted out.
Now if you guys could just produce an Eric Bana Hector and a Brad Pitt Achilles that would be great.

Yeah, because they specifically waited until you in particular paid your deposit before dropping that bombshell?
You don't want to pay any extra for another head, then don't. Not like they're forcing your hand. They're just providing people with a further option... that they're free to purchase or not purchase, as they see fit. Nothing dishonest or unfair about it.
Sculpt looks great. I can't wait to get the deluxe and additional sculpt. Yes, we did ask for the additional sculpt and you came through Fabio. Thank you.
