I'm glad they picked a good actor over some pretty boy. Maybe no ATM from Ween, but the guy's got a healthy female fan base from Girls. And a healthy amount of guys fangirling from the looks of the super-defensive KR figure thread.

I think he did brilliantly! For the little airtime he had without the mask - he portrayed the emotions very very well!

Yeah I thought he did well in the film. I wouldn't have picked him in the first place though...a little bit too unconventional. But since he is Kylo Ren I kinda hope he grows the facial hair as suggested by Clown Prince, he does look better with it.

I have no issues with his looks. He's got big ears and a big nose, but he's also handsome and I can see a bit of Han in him.

I was disappointed in his acting however. He was alright. Nothing special. And his character was awful IMO. Oscar Isaac was perfect as expected. Not sure how I feel about Finn/Rey, I think I actually liked Finn better. General Hux had horrendous acting. Just terrible.

I felt that Kylo was autistic or something. The way he was portrayed was just...strange. He was obviously insecure (without his helmet), but there was more to it than that. Every time he spoke to another character without his mask he seemed incredibly awkward and unnatural.

Kylo and Rey are the best part of the movie.

The only area I think this film actually succeeded in was the Stormtroopers. They have an awesome design and name, like the originals, but with the added benefit of being brutal, menacing and competent in battle, unlike the originals.

Yeah I wouldn't say Kylo was anywhere near being a highlight.

Although Rey, despite being a Mary Sue, is very likable.

That's all I'm saying, that I wouldn't have picked him in the first place, not for that role. Same with Hayden Christensen as Anakin, though Driver can act rings around him.

I don't find him handsome at all, especially when he opens his mouth, but that doesn't have anything to do with it. I just don't see him in THAT role. He did it okay, but I would've never went with him if I was doing the casting. That's just me. You guys can love him all you want.

I'd take Oscar for looks.

Where the hell were the jawa's for this film ? So many things i'd wish went differnt for this movie. Remember when Han said to LUKE I OWE U ONE! Where the hell was that i owe jj one big a$$ complaint sorry wanted so much more....
