I dont think it fits, im sure I seen a review where someone tried it. Might be wrong though.

Fits fine only because the Mafex neck hole is too deep , so don't expect any turn of the figuarts old Anakin head movement, it easily falls off, however if you don't turn it, nice and snug at least for pics

i don't get why bandai is doing kits? no different than the shfiguarts stuff you just assemble the figure right?

Simple..why have Coke when you have Pepsi, why Sprite, when there's 7up, etc.

Just like these, each line is trying to be superior and trying to out perform for our money. Bandai says Figuarts has the detail but the scale is off, Vice Versa, Bandai kits have the scale but not the superior detail.

No they are actually different figures completely. You have to think of tamashii as a separate company to Bandai. Even though they are owned by them, Tamashii makes its own decisions on figures to make, brands to get into etc.

Woaf. I'd say not. That's certainly more than I'd be willing to pay.

You have to accept the possibility (I'd even say liklihood) that ANYTHING coming from anywhere outside the EU with a value of greater than £20 will have customs to pay.

yeah, there's really nothing to it besides pulling it off. The only glue on the figure is on the belt where it tabs, but that's nothing.

It's not a kylo specific it's actually just lukes black robe. Probably going to purchase another and customize it a bit or make my own. Still need to make one for Vader. Ironically enough your the reason I got the robes lol

Fantastic! Clear sign regarding the scale of the SHF Kylo that the BS Kylo robe fits so snug. Could you show a pic of him just standing normally? (Would fashion a cloth scarf too personally...)

I wouldn't praise it, but having the Figuarts in hand now, I like their Ren Hood a lot but where it suffers is that the top portion of the plastic hood just needed to be designed to sit just a little lower or maybe just a thinner portion of plastic.

As a Customizer , I can tell you, all it needed was too sit a inch or two lower and you got the perfect non soft goods look. I don't think it was an intentional screwup, I believe Bandai didn't have the right source material to begin with.

No offense to Jay's using of the BS parts, but I personally prefer the Figuarts parts. The change in color with the Figuarts body with the really black BS cloak just seems off Imo

Have to look at source pics of Ren but I thought the outfit was one solid color, and does the hood have a pattern like that, if so, how can Figuarts miss that

I wonder if Bandai were using this reference



You can see how much of a gap the top portion of the hood to the helmet just like the figure, but the actual movie it sat a tad lower

Picked up the Mafex OT Stormtrooper today for like $30 and for that price I'm pretty happy with it. There is no gloss to the armor and it seems a little taller. It does come with a stand like Vader as well. It won't replace my SHFA Troopers but it's a nice enough looking figure that I will definitely grab one of their FO Troops.
