For a company that prides itself on the details though... the lack of blood on his face is another sign that they didn't put the attention that they should have into this

HT didn't add the blood because it had a tuxedoed figure to sell.

If they put blood on his face then the default Keaton with suit will have a bloody face too.

indeed, showing further disconnect from the fanbase for this line

Batman, alone, should come with broken cowl with headsculpt with blood on face

Batman & Bruce Wayne would include two Bruce headsculpts, one for clean look on the suit, and one for the iconic scene fans want to recreate in their displays

More pics are rolling out though, it does look better when you can't see the bright blue eyes as much on the Batman

I understand the trade off, a bloodied face wouldn't look good in the tuxedo anymore.

I do like some of the Keaton pictures. I think this will look better in person.

The final product looks downgraded to me. The faceplates don't even sit in the face right. The DX 09 had a similar problem with the lipped edge of the plate, but not to this extent where nearly every photo of Returns Batman looks goofy and unlike Keaton.

I think this thing looked way better in it's earlier stages before it went into mass production. It actually looked realistic and not like a toy.

Where did you see the blood? She appeared later.
Hot Toys made the first version.

Default mouth looks fine too. Who even uses the alternates honestly though.

Just imagine if they provided a grinning or angry faceplate. Keaton has so many expressions in that movie, so many definite expressions.

I don't think the Keaton sculpt is that bad. It looks like it might be be better from certain angles. Batman looks good overall too. I'm curious to see both figures in more natural lighting as I think both will look better in hand. The biggest thing for me is some of the mouth plates don't look the best but I'll likely only use the default one anyways.

In one of the Plastic Enemies shots the ab plates are folding like soft vinyl.

Am I wrong, or weren't these supposed to be rigid armour plates in the film? I don't remember seeing them fold or bend on-screen.

An beautiful box ruined by that Keaton stunt double.

We were so worried about the unmasked head, and that actually looks more like him than actually ****ing Batman. What a shame...

Not even remotely close. So glad I got it. I hope they just kill this line at this point, which is very likely.

I think with the wait we head with this our expectations were so high we were never gonna be happy. Iv got 2 on my way to me now, no interest in the Bruce Wayne/batman set. I just want one to display along side my batmobile and another in my detolf

I wouldn't say our expectations were too high. We were at least expecting to get the Batman figure that was shown, without the googly eyes... I think the Wayne sculpt turned out better than the Proto by a lot... but does it make it a good Keaton likeness? Meh.

I think Batman looks awesome, obviously the paint application is different but same sculpts.
I'm fine with the vinyl costume because even though it has visible bends, warping and wrinkles, at least we can pose him with less fear of cracking, chipping, tearing or dripping oil rubber figures... which everyone was stressing over for at least 6 months, lol.

The Bruce Wayne sculpt is an improvement, it's obviously not perfect... the features are accurate to Keaton, except the shape, Keatons face is rounder.

My biggest complaint is the eyes in the cowl, the rest of the stuff I can ignore.

Makes me grateful how good the Arkham Bats sculpt turned out.
