Someone needs to come up with a custom and better headsculpt for this guy and the SS version.

As it stands right now, Iron Studios AOU version owns them all.

SSC doesn't ressemble Evans at all, but at least, this Cap looks real&serious!!! No puppy eyes like GG!

GGs paint work has always looked like that.....soft features. We are just used to the more realistic sculpts from Sideshow and HT, which I prefer, personally.

The detail on the rest of the statue look great, it's just the paint app on the portrait that kills it IMO.

Absolutely and there are several excellent & talented artist right here on this board to get to fix the portrait. However, having stating that, when we pay as much money as we do for these collectibles we should be getting what was advertised.

On the contrary, you actually got what was advertised with this one. It's a near spitting image of their prototype. The eyes on the production releases are pretty much what was shown on the proto so if you didn't like it then, you're not gonna like it now. I didn't really like the eyes when he was first solicited either, but I bought it anyway knowing GG's track record for near perfect quality. As usual, I'm not disappointed with their quality and proto to production match up in the least. I do, however, fully intend to have the eyes revamped.

I don't think the portrait's paint app look like the prototype at all.
