Star Wars: The Force Awakens (12/18/15)

Loved it as a movie but wasn't blown away. Didn't actually feel like Star Wars, but maybe the prequels didn't at first either.

Will probably take a few more viewings to form a firm viewpoint.

Right now I'm probably putting it in ROTS/ROTJ territory. Better than AOTC & TPM but not as good as ANH & ESB.

But again, the prequels maybe felt more "Star Wars".

Pretty sure Harrison only agreed to come back if they killed him. I understand about not wanting to see him die, but with what Kylo Ren is wrestling with internally it makes sense and is a very horrible moment. Only problem I had was I saw it coming, I did not want it to, but there really wasn't much suspense to the scene. But after it happens, Kylo fully embraces the dark side. He is like a little kid who is trying to prove himself to Vader and is always falling short. Killing Han Solo especially given who is to Kylo (not sure if you know so I won't say) was such an act of darkness he internally proves himself to Vader.

From What i gather his story arc Will be to come back from the darkside, a new vilain, not really new mind you, Will show up in the next movie.

Oh and guys please stop with the "yu want it to fail or be bad" routine.
People dont go Hoping for the worst and to have a not so good time.

Kinda wish I hadn't read that but as it was addressed to me I did.

Well assuming he lives beyond this film that sets up Kylo Ren as a villain to be feared. Really seems like Han, rather than Luke, is taking the Obi-wan role in TFA - which I think will be very interesting to watch. I do regret though if it means we never see Han and Luke sharing a scene again.

Its not a coma per se, the character us wounded and resting.
No one says anything about coma or his life being in danger really.

Luke cameo is cringe worthy.
He look sad and crazy, ready to cry.
But yet he is on top of the Hill waiting for someone to come...
Really weird.
The scene us actually too long.
Rey is standing there holding the lightsabers towards him.
The way all the iconic heroes enter the scenes are all but iconic.
Yeah they were myth but noix they look like Old sad ghost... All if them.
Way to **** with the Old cast.
