Fantastic pics, buddy, love this one in particular. Repped.

I'm really digging this revival for the figure. The new pics are just as fresh and cool as they were when it was first released. I'm guessing the anticipation for Returns Batman has a lot to do with this.

Can't wait to see the two of them side by side.

A true sign of a classic HT figure. This one is a gem for sure.

Thinkin after having 2 dx 09s and selling them I may go back and pick up one since I have the batmobile and the returns batman on order.

I went back too, liike so many others, had to sell mine years ago, picked up a brand new one last year. THIS has to be one of the best 1/6 scale figures ever made and the accessories are terrific as well. My only gripe was the cape hassle, but even that, done well, looks amazing -- but I'm prolly gonna pick up a Returns cape, just to keep all options open.

Me neither!

Exactly how I felt hunting one down last year -- bought one on ebay where seller falsified broken PERS, I returned it, then got one brand new in sealed box with excellent PERS function (which makes this particular masked figure special IMO) and after ALL THAT, I said that's it, I'm done -- never again.

BTW, great work Elvis, been a long time since the Scarecrow days.

Scored this guy and Joker from a fellow freak for $570 not too bad if I say so myself.. Joker has never been displayed...

Still debating waiting for the returns or attempting to pick up the 89. I was reading through the forum and someone mentioned about 1 out of 4 of these had the an issue with the eyes is that true. For the most part? Also I see people saying something about the cape being a hassle could someone explain?

Almost all pers have issues, the batman was prone to offset eyes straight out of the box though I'm not sure of the ratio. I had 2 & they were fine, but I didn't move them much as the plastic was very brittle.
The cape was just as bad as every other batman, Iv always got a custom for everyone of my batmen.
No doubt the returns version will be the same.
It goes down to which is most important to you.
After having the 89 batman, I sold both of them. They were cool, but just didn't sit well with my collection.
I always preferred the returns outfit & in my opinion looks a lot better with the batmobile.
I recently picked up a batmobile just because I know it will look amazing alongside this figure

Thanks for that reply, I'm gonna go with returns mostly because of the cheaper price and the cape might be better. Although it will always eat at me that I don't have the original 89
