I'll say something positive about this trailer. Although it doesn't feel or look epic like the Civil War comic, it looks like a well written story, and honestly, I think it's better than BvS. There's more story and more of an emotional connection to the characters as well as the plot in that teaser than there is in all of the BvS trailers I've seen so far. Maybe it's because of the way Marvel has developed the characters over the course of 10+ films, unlike BVS. I feel this movie might end up being a better movie, even if it looks and feels small and not as epic as the tittle suggests.

Also, this film doesn't feel like a filler episode, unlike "Week/weak of Boredtron."

I'd imagine Ant Mans inside the suit playing with the wiring again.

I don’t know, it just doesn’t look as grand as the comics version did, with hundreds of heroes from all over duking it out. The scene in the trailer where the 5 vs 5 running at each other looked seriously underwhelming :lol

Right? So underwhelming when you compare it to the comics but i guess they have to work with what they have.

Even though she was barely in the trailer (she's at 1:22 in the background, top right corner) :lol Sharon Carter got sixth billing, and before War Machine, Hawkeye, Antman, Scarlet Witch and a few others.

Hopefully that's the case in the film and she has a pretty major role.

I don’t feel like we needed to see Civil War yet, if they would have waited a bit, and finished off the whole Thanos plot, then they could have done Civil War. They have a bunch of the Netflix characters that could have been in the film to, such as Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Hell Cat, Punisher etc…

Imagine a Daredevil vs Spidey battle on the big screen, or The Punisher letting Cap beat him up. Some really cool stuff could have made it in if they waited a bit.

:exactly:

I totally forgot about those tv shows :lol But you're right, they could be in the film.

My last gripe with the trailer is I really feel like the rivalry with Tony and Steve should have been built up a bit more before this movie. The Avengers did a decent job setting their relationship up, but in Age of Ultron they barely spoke, and neither guy ever felt like they were leaders in either Avenger film so again, them going head to head just doesn’t feel as developed as it should based on that trailer.

Thats my last critique though, the movie will probably be epic as hell, and we haven’t even seen Spidey yet.

Its been 7 years since 'The Incredible Hulk'. He's in his mid-60's now. He was still in his 50's when he did that movie.

Dude has been getting old.

He definitely looks thinner, but what stood out to me was the brown in his hair and moustache because in The Incredible Hulk he had silver-blonde hair. This is either an error from the makeup department or something to do with the rumors of him being "enhanced".

Actually, I think that the movie could have a better story. A lot of the Civil War comics were a total mess. It will definitely be more concise.

CB story was freaking terrible. :lol
The basic plot was ok, but not writing.

This film will be better in every way possible.
I really don't care about the scale of events as long as the story itself is epicly written and directed.

My only and ONLy critique is no. ****ing. spiderman!!!!!

I was expecting something a bit more epic, I really don’t think they should have called this Civil War, but I really enjoyed The Winter Soldier so I’ll give the Russos the benefit of the doubt with this one.

It does look kind of funny :lol

The trailer is mere hours old, and out comes the regular motley crew of MCU haters. :) I'll make a bold opinion right now: Civil war will be better than SvB and X-men Apocalypse.

It might be a good movie, It might be just as good as winter soldier.

But it DEFINITELY doesn't feel epic at all. AT ALL.... Not in an "Avengers" style anyway. I hated Ultron and even his fights felt more epic

I know this is just a trailer obviously, but even the trailers for Ultron felt more epic. This feels like an Episode of Agents of Shield.

Like I said, yes it will be good, it will have a good plot. some good character development. but the whole "CIVIL WAR" thing... nah, it gives me a feeling of just another spy movie that just happens to have Iron Man in it.
