Yeah, while this is an ideal pose anyway, it's somewhat unfortunate that this one got no other additional pieces while everything that follows is looking to go above and beyond to match this one. :lol

Is the only difference between the batman ex and regular version the one weapon? No other heads, etc.?
Nope.
Could you elaborate for me?

What does the Ex include that the regular version does not? I'm pretty sure the SS website only notes the weapon, but I guess I'm wrong? Appreciate the follow up.

Sorry, I guess I should have put the last part of your quote in bold —as I have now— so as to avoid confusion.

I just saw the prototype for this figure on display at our official Sideshow distributor -- my jaw dropped and I can't believe how majestic it looks in person. Reading the specs and on pictures being 1/3 scale doesn't seem like much of a difference versus a quarter scale, but in person I can't believe how much it dwarfs a standard PF. If I had a spare budget of $900 for this I'd order one in a heartbeat.

Sorry for the crappy cellphone photo.

Wow!! he really does dwarf the sideshow PF. I have that Catwoman and now looking at the size of batman I may have to do some serious room planning lol.

Great pic!! Thanks for sharing. I have pics of myself standing next to this statue at Comicon, but it's amazing when you are in front of a rope, and the camera is even a few feet further back more, you lose perspective on how big this guy really is. Do you have more pics of these two? Perhaps side by side from a straight on angle? Thanks.

That looks awesome!

It's freaking massive!!

Wow likey! Make a PF look like 1/6 bowens. Again the new 1/4 is 1/3 :D with the new PF prices it's almost the same now. Can't wait to see the IA, IS, Pcs, and more prime 1, 1/3 statues! These will take the presence away from all 1/3. So I might have to display these in another room. :lol
