Heres my next custom, its a genome soldier from mgs1. I already have another couple of snow suit sets im waiting on and im going to mix and match them til i find one i like. Hes a work in progress. I also want to find another sculpt that i can use, the metal boss one was too big and i shaved it down and think i made it too small. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks promising! No wonder you asked for the patches. He does do it since I've seen a custom Genome soldier on his FB.

Yeah I got it. I'm very very pleased with it. Geewhiz did a stellar job on the suit. Only one issue though. The boots have a couple scuffs, and the Liquid head had a bit of green paint on the back of his hair. I was able to get most of it off, but there's a stain. I might see if I can send it to Pete just to touch it up, or it may be easier to just get someone in the states to do it.

Outside of that, I'm more than happy with it. Took about an hour to get everything on Snake, but I got it right next to be now. I just need to put his bandana on. I don't want to glue it, but Sol suggested sticky tac. For the time being, I have some double sided tape I'll put in a tiny ball to hold it.

Oh yeah I'll post pics in no more than an hour, probably 45 minutes at most. I just need to do some laundry, take a shower and I'll post pics I promise.

thanks guys! i just felt like these genome soldiers would be easy to do but i guess im wrong. im going to do the green version as well, i want to do as many characters as i can from the games.

That's a perfect Genome Soldier, Jason. I like how his clothes make him look like a fatty, just like they are in the game .

Made some small changes and added details to my latest figures. Small paint touches, accessories details etc...

I'm finally done with those 3.

Wow! I normally don't care for custom figures, but these are amazing. Good job!

The blue tape on the back of his head is only temporary, until I decide on how to do a more permanent way.

Hasn't really sunken in quite yet I should take a pic of it with the rest of my MGS stuff.

thanks to you solidus, but the jacket is definiely wrong and i dont care for the smaller head. i just thought of something, i have that putty that hardens i might just build his head back up instead of getting a new sculpt tomorrow. i have time to myself seeing my girl is working. you dont see anything but the eyes anyhow and the metal boss has nice realistic ones.
