I like the 1/4 scale, however I'll probably get two so I can remove the lips on one.

The lips definitely don't work with the mouth open, but I feel they actually improve the likeness when it's closed. I'm game. The Alien Warrior will be displayed with the inner-mouth bared. Always pictured the Big Chap to be a nose-breather anyway.

It's so true, though. Could also be that we're not as used to seeing him with his jaws fully opened.

This is the shot that sold me. Looks better than anything I've seen thus far, save for the Medicom RAH and Sano sculptures.

I still think NECA will release a second version with different lips, but I'm getting this one nevertheless.

I will probably be customizing the lips ever so slightly. I love them , very film accurate. It is the most accurate big chap articulated figure to date. That being said I will lift the lips ever so slightly and use the anthology blue ray picture as reference.

... great news! I'm also getting a dozen eggs, but since I don't have much space, I suppose that will be it. With any luck I'll have the eggs and the Power Loader by next week

The 1/4th is not my thing... but I can see they where going heavily for the drool factor on the lips. Which seems to be upsetting some. You can see the drips of drool... not a bad idea but it does tend to make it just look like milk.

For those wondering, you CAN fit both the Power Loader and the Queen into a single Detolf shelf. Not the prettiest of poses, but it works, until I find a bigger space that is.

Also, indeed it is almost impossible to have Ripley with her hands on the PL controls without having them pop out. Took me over an hour of trying different positions etc.

It is ridiculously hard. I needed 45 minutes, a hair dryer, a little superglue, and a lot of patience.

I noticed the black line/shading on the dome doesn’t go up as high at the front in this photo and in the other you can see the twisty ties. If that is the factory paint I will be very happy!

I have no complaints on the lips either. In this photo they look amazing.

Ahhh. I probably won't bother, I'll put her hands in the general region of the controls and be happy with it. It was always a problem with the HT Powerloader aswell so I kind of expected it to be likewise with the NECA.

I'm going to say Wednesday at the earliest for me. Any time I expect monday I'm made to regret it.
