Here's natural lighting with no filters and no color distortion. It's just a different look and its beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I think giving it a light source shows off the muscles in the detailed structure of the body. Which I like but to each his own, it's all good !

I asked my wife if she likes the HT AOU Hulk and she said "It doesn't look like the others" (pointing to my other Hot Toys figures). I said "What do you mean?" and she said it looks cartoony

Dude, That's what my wife always says. But she says that about all of human characters Hot Toys makes. She only likes fake things like Predators or Groots or Robots. They don't know. LOL. I like him a lot. That's all that matters.

Maybe the exposed joints?

I don't think she could really see all the detail because he's up high (on top of my detolf) and she's barely 4'11" tall, lol.

He actually looks that way in the movie. I don't think she saw the movie anyway. I am going to try and get her to watch it this weekend and see if she has the same opinion of the 'real' thing. It's a stretch though, she's totally not into Superhero movies unless they involve Groot.

Just ordered Hulk ... took far too long for reward points I was supposed to have available on the 20th to become active haha Let's see ordered this after work ... po'ed scarlet witch before work ... on the same day my first flexpay for hulkbuster went through ... days after buying a mark vii iron man off another freak and ordering the artfx hulkbuster statue.

I've been on a spending spree of late...time to pump the brakes.
