Nice pics Royce and epitaph! You guys have any pics with him next to your other 1/4 figures?

Not the whole gang but here is a semi-group shot. Missing Batman, Endo, Master Chief and Jordan.

^I used to only collect 1/4 and also thought 1/4 was truth. I always assumed 1/6 was too small and probably lacked the detail and realism of 1/4. But I have to say, now that I've started collecting 1/6, the quality and detail is pretty comparable to 1/4, sometimes even better.

I'm still a 1/4 collector at heart and would probably still choose a 1/4 scale figure over its 1/6 scale counterpart, but I can definitely see why 1/6 collecting is so addictive. Both scales are awesome for their own reasons. For collectors that only collect one scale, I'd recommend collecting both if possible.

My journey to 1/4 went the opposite way. Only collected 1/6 and MP transformers. My wife bought me the 1/6 Jake Sully figure and its size dwarfed my other 1/6 figures and was stealing all the attention in my display. Then NECA released the 1/4 Master Chief and that was my first official quarter scale purchase. Again I was impressed with the size and presence. The 18inchers were the stars of the show and the 12 inchers started looking like toys. My display is now all 1/4 (except Hulk and a 1/5 Spider-Man statue) and I'm in the process of selling off the 1/6 stuff.

Yeah, my 1/4 scale collection also definitely wins when it comes to shelf presence. The 1/6 scale figures can look toyish at times in comparison, but I think what helps is displaying both scales separately. My 1/4 figures take up 2 walls in my home office, while the 1/6 collection occupies another. In the end, I'm surrounded by figures and everyone looks good and is happy :lol

Oh trust me 1/6 scale is great. I go back to it every now and then just for kicks, but 1/4 scale just owns me. The truth shall set you free.

Trust me, my wallet and I wish we shared the same truths :rotfl

Front of the base leg down or Back of the base leg up?

Normally I'd say leg down to avoid damaging the outfit, but in this case, leg up looks better IMO and shouldn't cause any damage to the cloth clothing. I think I'll probably pose mine in the same pose once he arrives.

Either one is Epic! Leg up kind of reminds me of a lot of the recent Sideshow Premium Format Figures, but looks awesome. Very "regal" :)

Im leaning towards sticking with the leg up pose. I have him at the highest point in my display like he is on guard duty. With no visable joints, great tailoring and a great paint job it really does look like a statue once you get him all posed up.

Another quick pic of Fett. Great figure.

Here's a couple of side by side pics of Fett next to some of my other 1/4 scalers. The pics are awful but hopefully they showcase the scale/height difference. I tried to keep them on level ground as much as possible.

Fett and the Mark XLII arent quite on level ground, but you can see the difference between the too.

Pretty accurate overall, I think. Although batman is always going to be underscale, which makes me want to scream.

^Awesome pics and badass 1/4 scale collection!! Thanks a lot for taking the time to take pics of him next to the other figures!

I really hope you guys are correct about the body being easier to pose than the 1/4 TDK Batman. That figure is almost impossible for me to pose in a natural stance... Even museum poses are difficult with him. I think it's due to the ratchet joints. They either click too far or not far enough, causing something to always look off.

I was gonna take a pic of Fett next to my predator maquette but I felt that would be too much ha.

Yeah the ratchet joints seem to be better on Fett. Proof is in the pics I've taken so far. He looks so natural...as natural as a figure can look, I think. That's why I usually prefer statues...theyre so much more naturally posed and proportioned in ways that simply aren't possible with action figures. This Fett is the ****.

Only issue with mine is that his left ankle seems very loose.

I was able to get what I feel to be a natural pose for Batman but it took lots of manipulating the figure, putting it down, looking at pictures online and coming back the next day to get it right.

I had Fett posed within a few hours of opening the package and I'm happy with how he looks.

Excellent job! It took me a loooong time to get mine to look how it looks, and I'm still not happy with it. It's why I'm probably getting the Sideshow PF.
