Hmm if it is a Visor and its not movable its a petty...another small detail, look at the small latches located next to the eye lenses.

Looks like they should attach to something like a lock mechanism for a VISOR!!!!

You're right. The end of the world doesn't look far off.

However, as of yet I don't think the police are regularly equipped with masks and pipes to filter the residual radiation in the futuristic dystopian society that I have in mind. This TIE guy is.

I'm pretty sure this is going to be my first order for Episode VII.

Yes, it definitely looks like it's meant to slide down and give him a sort of 'faceless' look like the Snowie.
