I was joking, hence the 'I keed, I keed' and ''!! (I believe azure got the joke.) YP has been nothing but nice to me. He knows my humor well enough, and if he does not, I will apologize. No ill will intended.

I've been around here long enough for most veterans to know me well.

I got your point. There's definitely an element of 'popularity' more than there it is 'quality.' Now, I'm not saying that for EVERYONE. Some reputations are more than justified, but there are sometimes where I'm saying, "I want a rep. pt!!! Why did he/she get so many??!?"

Take Yankee Planet for example. I personally can't stand the guy, yet he's running circles around my rep points status. I, for one, think that I AM cooler. I even have a cooler sig than him. Make no sense to me.

even though I'm definitely not defending Nash at all, the "reputation" level is the most pointless feature on this board. There are ppl on here that have less posts then me, haven't been here longer than me, have less real feedback than me and they still have higher "reputation" than me.

The straps are not in the correct position but they are sturdy, I've carried it around without fear of it falling apart. The leather is nice quality and the back of the shield look nice IMO.

Salad bowl anyone?

I have that hammer and I think it's absolutely fantastic for the price. I love it so much and actually wouldn't need any other hammer. Id get it, dude.

Haha no problem, man. I think the only "beef" people would have with it is the weight. But I think it's fine the way it is. It's light enough to carry it around at cons or just looks great as a display piece. Here's mine.

I’m new here but have spent some time over the last couple of weeks reading through hundreds of pages of info, and first and second hand accounts/opinions specifically about the different types of shield replicas. Now, I’m pulling the trigger and buying one!

Ideally, I want the Lager Toys classic red and white but they have none left and I can’t find any for sale online. This is a call for help really: do any of you guys know of anywhere/one that might be selling? While I’d rather put the money into a licenced collectible from the off, the combination of aesthetics and build material in the Lager means that I need to try and get that first. If the Lager isn’t possible, I’ll shoot for the eFX.
I’m based in Stockholm, Sweden, so international shipping will be high but some things are worth it.

I’m posting in this thread as it seemed like the correct place even though it’s been quiet for a while. If there’s no response I’ll try my luck in the, far more popular, eFX thread.

I'd try eBay. If not, I'd honestly go for King Arts over all of these others. Again, just my opinion, but the King Arts quality is superb.

Did you message them on facebook? Did they say they ended production on those shields?

The last post on the page, dated 28.08 says they have one classic shield left and won't have more, so I thought I'd see if you guys knew anywhere else while I was waiting. Ebay is throwing up nothing (that I can see) - I've checked the US and UK sites.

Similarly, the only King Arts I can see is on the BBTS ebay store and it states US delivery only. Cat Toys version are all over the place but I'm not keen.

I'm English but living in Stockholm, Sweden. Friends and family back home, so the UK is pretty easy to get things delivered/collected. I have friends and colleagues across the US and Canada but it'd be harder to arrange for obvious reasons (not impossible though!).

Ah, yeah, I can appreciate the predicament.

These shields can be a pain in the butt to locate/get shipped. I still think eBay is the best bet, but doesn't sound like much is out there at the moment. Hopefully in time, something will come along.

Lager Toys got back to me today. One classic shield left, so I've just bought it. 6 day delivery to me so it'll arrive in just over a week!
