The wait is almost over buddy :)

Congrats, Pete. I know how much you want this figure. :hi5:

Thanks fellas, This figure is my all time most wanted, its just about everything I could ever want in a figure as an adult, if I were to have had this as a kid I would have looked like this

This is one of the few figures that I wish I have 2 of them. one poses as topless with shotgun, and shotgun only. The other ones poses as fully geared vest. Both versions are too damn good!

Just got him today in Australia...he is beautiful. A heavy figure with much more detail in hand. Such an iconic piece for me and his body size is spot on. Personally I would be very careful with the soft rubber arm bending, feels a spongier than i'd anticpated. Very happy with him.

Congrats, I too was impressed with him in hand. I did notice the spongy feel when replacing his hands having to hold the forearm to remove the peg and squeezing...got me a little nervous. I was concerned also about leaving the vest on for a long time and bending his arms but Id rather pay $100+ later for a new body "IF" it does get damaged and enjoy the fig how I want, rather than having him in a museum pose and feel restricted to that. And not that there is anything wrong with museum pose but just not my thing.

Very difficult figure to photograph.

So much of the disappointment is justified. And so much is doing a disservice to the overall figure.

The detail is noticeably softer. There is much to be desired in the headsculpt. Part of it is the casting, but I think that most of the problem is the paintwork. Hot Toys has been trending towards these problems often, lately. The paintwork is 'flat,' lacking the dimension that we've seen in previous releases, up to and including the Matrix prototype.

There is much discussion to be had, still, on the headsculpt and paint, and I'm looking forward to seeing more feedback as this figure makes it into more and more of our hands.

I will say that the figure appears MUCH differently in hand than it does in pictures. In hand, it's fantastic, and QUITE a Grail figure. As much as something was lost in translation in the production headsculpt, I love this figure and have no regrets whatsoever, even at retail price.

Got my Matrix on Friday .
I'm a huge Schwarzenegger fan ... And pretty much collect all his Hot Figures and customs that I see . This piece was an instant purchase for me .... I couldn't wait .

The box art and packaging is fantastic . Love the vest and all the detail . Weaponry is outstanding .

I however hate this body so much . I don't like it at all . Would have much prefured a TM-20 style body for him . I'm not a fan of the rubber crap with warning labels everywhere . No thanks .

WOW just got my tracking number from sideshow and mines showing its being shipped from Hong Kong and not direct from sideshows warehouse ?

Which part of the world do you live in? I imagine American buyers will have this figure delivered from California.

Im in the UK - and always buy direct from sideshow, all my previous orders round about 30 or so have shipped direct from sideshow..

so im clueless why this is coming from Hong Kong ,....

Thanks, hotslayer73. It's odd that Sidehow wait until stock reaches American shores, and starts being posted to US buyers, before they allow Hot Toys (as an official distributor) to start shipping orders to the UK and EU from Hong Kong. Surely, your figure was in Hong Kings weeks ago... Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new figure!
