To be fair, Yamcha was already driving Bulma away. Vegeta probably wasn't really a factor, the only thing is, we just got Trunks out of the deal.

Vegeta was the final nail in the coffin of their relationship. I feel like Yamcha and Bulma would have played the on-again-off-again thing for a while until he knocked her up and sponged off of her family for the rest of his life while being a deadbeat dad.

were sdcc goku's being sold wrapped in tissue paper? just curious, as my toyz order just came in and it was wrapped.

That's the most likely scenario. If there was a full-blown official wedding then there prolly would've been an episode dedicated to it (and the ensuing shenanigans that it would inevitably entail). And yeah I guess there's still time for that to happen, but the fact that they're already "unofficially" married is all we really need

They most likely did a Vegas style wedding or probably just did it through a court. I can see it now, Vegeta could legit propose to her in one day and renew their vows and have a grand wedding. That'd be one hilarious episode.

Yamcha would have been a better dad than Vegeta. And he makes more money than any of us as a professional baseball player. He would have been a great dad.

Aw, it's okay, bud, I'm sure Yamcha would have done his best.

But all saibamen aside, Goku and Vegeta could definitely be better fathers. I personally think Vegeta is a better father than Goku. At least Vegeta is actually there.

I bet Vegeta didn't even propose. Bulma probably planned a weekend trip to a huge Vegas-like super gambling city, dragged Vegeta along by promising him the biggest all-you-can-eat-buffets he's ever seen. Then she tricks him into getting married at a restaurant that's actually a wedding chapel. He gets irritated that she tricks him but a big monster or some-such villain attacks the city and Vegeta has to save the lives of everyone, including Bulma and Trunks. In the process he realizes he does love Bulma and agrees to stay married.

I'd watch that.

Vegeta is actually a great dad. He does love his son even if he doesn't show it explicitly. He is there for him and spends time with him even if it's just training. Also the DBS episode when they went on vacation really drove that point through. He kept his promise to his son. Also as Fat said, he is def a better father than Goku. Plus as a baseball "star" he wouldn't have been able to be around too often. The steroid use would've resulted in domestic violence and his eventual lawsuit when he is caught cheating on Bulma as a public figure. Just keeping it real [emoji5]️

If Yamcha did get with Bulma, we would just have a normal kid that would've been yet another weak human side character. With Vegeta we got the awesomeness that is Trunks.

You both seem to be under the impression that said that things would have been better if Yamcha really had ended up with her. Which I didn't. I'm just saying he would have been a better father. I also never said Vegeta doesn't love his son. Hmm...confused as to what you guys think you're telling me. Especially fat acting like a troll.

You sir are a hypocrite! Accusing me of namecalling while doing the same **** yourself! Excuse me while I add oil to the fire.

Well I got a pleasant surprise today, the Trunks v2 jacksdo head and Vegeta datong combo arrived. Only a week from shipping to here is impressive! Anyway, the real Trunks heads fit it fine!

Look. To set the record straight. I root for underdogs. I like that there's someone like Yamcha in the cast. He serves a purpose. From a literary standpoint he serves as great foil for Tien and Krillin. If we didn't have Yamcha we wouldn't love them as much. I see no reason to hate on a character so much just because Toriyama is terrible at writing for that character. If he wasn't going to be relevant, then he never should have kept reappearing. But he did. So all we can do is hope that Toriyama will give more chances for these characters to shine. Especially characters who he's kept around since day one. The character was great at first. It's Toriyama's fault he's not very useful or endearing. Drop the character or make him relevant. That's his duty. Our duty is to hope for better writing for each of the characters or hope that he drops them.

Nah, I understood what you meant. That's why I added the Trunks thing in a seperate paragraph. I personally don't think Yamcha would make a better father than Vegeta. Given that he is considered a celebrity, that would've made things complicated for him. Another factor is that he is weak (compared to the rest) and would've died more often. His personality isn't very suited to fatherhood as he is more interested in money and women, hence probably cheating on Bulma eventually. Sorry, but just how I feel, my opinion.

Listen. I don't need to be talked to sarcastically like I'm some sort of child. He's obviously a classic Yamcha hater who disregards anyone that defends the character as if they've gotten they're feelings hurt. It's a troll response and mindset. I call it like I see it. The only thing that gets me pissed off is that treatment. Plus. From where I'm standing, the way he worded it, he called me a Saibaman like I'm a joke. Or what I said was a joke.

Looks awesome! I'm definitely getting on now. Does it have shading on it? Looks like it does

Same shading that the 1st version had. Infact, the new front piece is actually a scaled down version of the 1st with a new ponytail head piece. The face that comes with it is the usual overdone shaded face jacksdo does for some reason.

THAT is a good response. Thank you.
He may be a flake in some regards, but he has a pretty large sense of honor. Yes he's always cared more about being rich and famous, but he's always been there when he felt needed. Especially if he felt like he could make a difference. A child would need him. He COULD make a difference in that child's life and help it grow.
I guess we just have different views of the character.
Obviously the best thing for the story itself was for Vegeta to knock her up but I was never saying anything to argue that. Cuz yeah, Trunks rocks. Lol

By the way folks (shameless plug incoming) but I decided to setup a youtube channel to review these things! Had some time so I built myself a review area etc! apologies for the lighting, im new to the whole behind the camera thing so still tinkering with it! First up is SDCC Frieza Saga Goku!
