Yeah I saw that amazing piece on there twitter. Is there any other pics of it somewhere? Also nice addition to your city sticks! The Lawgiver is one of my favs.

Finally opened my TRU Infantry packs. Can the alternate (semi-closed) hands actually grip something? I was trying to figure it out but they seem so rigid.

These are now back in stock at TRU if anyone still needs them but the sale is over.

Well here are pictures of my collection. Below the pics I will list everything and the total of my collection.

So this is my NECA ape collection here is the list below

My entire collection was bought from dozens of Toysrus's in the SO Cal area excluding the 2 Lawgivers which i purchased thru NECA's Ebay store.

That is an amazing collection Matt. Talk about supporting the line. Do you plan on eventually opening everything or keep the rest sealed.

There should more Ape collectors like you Matt!

Puts to shame my meager purchases.

I have a problem.

Well, I finally started to head swap some apes. I thought that the head on the Conquest gorilla would look good on a soldier body with backpack from the infantry two pack. I must admit, I'm not a fan of those gorilla heads. Anyway, I then added Aldo's bandolier to the figure. I was in the process of finalizing my custom when the waist strap of the backpack became unglued.

Now the strap won't stay. I've used a multipurpose adhesive (Goop) and it did not hold. What do you guys suggest in the way of adhesives to fix my problem?

The gorilla looks AWESOME now... by the way. Although the neck is a bit restrictive, I like it better than the first gorilla soldier.

Woot! Great Collection Matt!

My troops need some flags like those. Nice job!

PZ-I used one of my small hot glue guns and used just a dab, it seems to still be holding strong.

It looks like Neca just sent out my order today, I don't get it till next week.

While I was down by the old ruins, I almost ran into a group of patrolling gorillas.

Thanks guys! Dholden007 i will pry open another 3 pk and maybe some ziras and soldiers. Thanks also sticks like your new signature. Also PZ on the backpacks i dropped a dab of superglue it will hold it great and also you can te pop it out i did it on all my soldiers. Also how did you remove the heads on the series 3, i fond on those the pin stays in the body where the rest of the line pins stay in the head?

I found that they are the same pin for the figures I was using. The pin is a separate piece from both the head and body. The Conquest Gorilla has a red pin... the other gorillas have a dark grey/black one. If I removed the head and the pin was in the head, I just reheated up the head and used needle nose pliers to free the pin from the head. If I removed the head and the pin was attached to the body, I reheated the body to free the pin.

So many great collections and pictures here. So sad the line is dead and I wasn't even able to pick up Series 3. My TRU around me still have some of the Gorilla Infantry two-packs I'll pick up eventually and a couple of Ursus. But other then that. Nothing. So sad...

Indeed. The final nail is in the coffin. Randy said its dead! I asked about releasing Julius as a reward to the supporters but he said although NECA certainly appreciates the die-hards they can't throw away $30K in tooling & manufacturing costs. The 3 pack exclusive used a lot of existing tooling which is why Julius was bumped to the next wave....but now not going to happen :gah:

(Didn't know they cost so much to produce either)

Well then they should release that amazing looking Urko!

PZ, I got back today to find your package. Thanks a million!

Yeah, I wish they would have released Urko instead of Aldo!

I guess that Julius with his two sets of arms posed a greater expense to produce than Aldo.

My Neca order is on the truck and scheduled for delivery today! :woo

I can't wait to bust open a couple of cases!

These are probably the best figures of the year!. I had no time to have any real fun, but here are a few shots I was able to snap today.

So that's how you get the shackles to work. I came here to ask a question about that. I tried different ways yesterday, but nothing seemed to work.

Does anyone happen to have the SKU number of General Ursus? I want to find out which TRU in my area still has them in stock.

Should have just ordered it from Hastings with the extra Conquest gorillas. :gah:
