I received my Robocop 3 today (Gun arm, no jet pack). However, Robo is missing the 2 C clamps (the half circle "latches") on his left shoulder. I know it's a small detail, but it's really irritating for a figure of this price. I really don't want to have to return it. Any idea if Hot Toys will replace them (Hell, I can super glue them on if need be ... as long as they are there). Any advice would be appreciated.

That's odd because I thought they were on the actual molded chest piece.

Actually, they look to be inserted in. Not an expert, but I can see where they were ... it almost looks like they snapped off. There is an actual indention and the color is slightly different, which - at least to me - seems to imply that they were inserted in and that they snapped at the insertion pieces. If anyone knows for sure, please LMK.

P.S. I e-mailed Hot Toys asking for a replacement. Not sure if that will do any good though. I hate that it bothers me so much, but it's one of those details that sticks out EVERY time I look at him. As much as I hate Robocop 3 the movie (Hell, I even cover the 3 up on the stand with his foot LOL) I may have to pick up the Jet Pack just to cover over the missing pieces. Sigh, and I was so looking forward to him ... 8-(

Voorhees, he comes with a stand. It is just like the ones I got with my Alien and Pirates figures. Robocop 3 is printed on the base and their is a raised plaque that says Robocop with Gunarm.

Frig I knew it! Lying bastard! I can't complain though, I bought it near complete for $22 :lol

Wow, I guess I'm lucky.

Here's a couple pics of mine I took a while ago. Mine doesn't have any noticeable defects. I tried to achieve that signature pose. a previous poster claimed that the HT Robo's arms didn't have enough range to achieve the pose, I wanted to prove him wrong. I think I got pretty close:

I found it difficult to get his left arm/elbow to stay in a 90 degree pose, the limitations of the underlying rubber sheath kept pushing it back.

indeed WE proved him wrong didn't we ;)
I even got the effect of 90° arm :)

That makes a little more sense Voorhees. I can see why others would be less inclined to bid on him without the gun and hands. Still a great bargain though. If I might make a suggestion, the Battle damaged 12" version from McFarlane is still available online cheap. The gun from that figure would work well if you haven't already found a replacement - might be able to work something out with the hand as well.

I have seen many ebay actions where they sell HT robocop hands seperately mostly Hong Kong based, you should check it out.

I think I'm gonna smash this figure into pieces!!!:emperor:emperor
How did you manage to put his head on??!

I was also suprised what a pain it was to put the figure together and yes i felt like smashing it to:rotfl. The head went relatively easy on mine, the arms and legs were a nightmare.

Bro! I almost broke my Robo's neck yesturday trying to put the head on, get yourself a blow dryer and literally put the hole piece on the head right up to the blow dryer on hot/high until you smell plastic. This part HAS to be heated, at least for me anyway. A good 15 seconds is all you need.

Give it a shot.

Thanks man I'll give it a shot!

Thanks for the tip Douglas, i'll give it a try if I see some loose. It was funny as hell last Saturday morning, I did my regular Hot Toys search on Ebay and came across this one, I figured eh why not try and get it for $30, so I had to run out for a couple hours, came back and laughed my ass off when I saw that I one it for so cheap. :D

Even though it had some missing pieces IMO this thing is still worth at least $100.
