Wow, that's like salt in the wound. This one is WAY more accurrte than the big one, sharper details, and if smaller, should cost less. Now I'm excited, have to pass on the maquette but this is a great runner up and possibly more feasible to buy.

This is a kick to the balls for those that got the original... Won't be as big but looks much better IMO and will probably be much cheaper.

I may get this one if it's around 400.00

Wonder if this means there's a chance of Godzilla vs MUTO statues at some point, since they're clearly not limited to a single piece.

It is strange though, why unveil this just as your other statue is about to ship and give people the chance to consider going smaller, cheaper and more accurate and passing on the bigger one.

Maybe they assume there'll be enough demand for both. I will say the pose on the maquette is a bit more interesting than this, but I dig this, makes me think of the airport roar the way his arms are posed, like he's putting his all into letting out a big roar.

It's only preview night, select people are getting in right now, come tomorrow there will be plenty of pictures all over.

Wow. Another one of these too? :lol Looks infinitely better than the maquette.

I don't see the point of this. At all. They should have just got the first one right.

It's just one picture, but something looks a little off about the proportions in this image. I think they did a pretty good job on that with the big maquette, but this one has better detailing.
