I had one on order long before it was disappearing. I think many of the people who claim that it's overpriced have not seen it in person. It is definitely one of my favorite pieces that I own. It is large and very dynamic. You can't find anything like this statue anywhere unless you go the custom route, and then you don't get ADI's sculpt.
I also think that the idea of it being undersized is leftover from incorrect measurements given out before the release that stated it was 31 inches tall TO THE TOP OF THE WHIP. The correct measurement is 31" to the top of the head. It was corrected on the sideshow page, but originally was incorrect.
Anyway, It's really amazing. Enough sour grapes. Had to comment because this thread needed some positivity.

Me saying it's overpriced isn't sour grapes it's my opinion.
Undersized? Who said anything about it being undersized? Compared to what?
Considering most LSFs are 1:2 scale then, compared to them, it is undersized
The sour grapes wasn't meant towards you.
When someone says something is overpriced, I read that as not big enough for the money. That's all. No biggee.
Bottom line: This thing kicks some serious alien butt.

I think the size is right as it is pretty big, and it really doesn't need to be bigger (could be a bit bigger I guess). But it could definitely have been cheaper ;p

Yeah, I hear you. I collect things from out of the country as well.......but I guess I don't have to worry about VAT.
Anyway, I've become MUCH more selective lately with collectibles. Definitely cut way back. No sideshow pre-orders for a while now. Weird.

Hey...
I have given a very reputable professional Predator painter my LSF unmasked head to touch up and to add extra detail and I have to say... WOW!!!!!! The teeth look so much better. The green burn and dark purple inner cheek looks so much more realistic. So glad I did this! It has improved the head from the original!!
