So with the XM wolverine issue, it looks like I will be getting this now. Still, I'm going to wait for the lower prices. Exclusive is cool, but way too much right now. I will do my searching in the after market.
I like both the new Spidey and this new Wolvie, but both have their flaws (odd growly face here, wacky exploding base and too large eyes with Spidey), and neither is as good as the previous SSC releases IMO. Still though, great for folks who missed out on the previous ones.

This is much better than the PJ previous version.
XM wolverine issue? What didn't you like. I have a couple minor nitpicking but overall that piece is phenomenal IMO. If I didn't have that I would consider this brown though.
Negative. The previous one had a better sculpt, metal claws, better, more uniform base, and pretty cool cloth outfit. Only drawbacks are the visible leg seams, and subpar Ex. head if anyone went for that.

If the original was sculpted it would have been one ideal wolverine. The metal claws is definately important preety sad to pay almost double with less quality

I think this one looks pretty good, and has taken an undeserved beating. But I have the original, so was passing regardless. Only thing I don't really like is the silver piece at the bottom of the base, should have just given it a faux wood paint.
Can't bring myself to order this one yet. The heads here aren't as good as the yellow costume PF, which I have and won't be letting go. I think the yellow costume regular head is one of the best Wolverine head sculpts out there.
Yeah the old PF has the pjs and while I agree they should've been handled better, it doesn't bother me nearly as much as it does those who say it's a bad PF. It's still one of my favorite PFs despite its flaws.
For brown costume I would've preferred a base that more so matched the Cyclops PF so I could put it with my 90s X-Men PFs, but this looks fine minus the heads and the slab of Danger Room wedged under there for no apparent reason. Never understood "platform" bases underneath environment bases... Choose one. A platform base, or an environment. There's almost always no sense in having both. Bowen annoyed me with their constant use of this.

Something still looks odd with the top lip, to me it's still got that Jim Carrey cotton mouth vibe going on, I really want this PF but I know that if I buy it my eyes will always be drawn to his bizarre mouth area/expression, what has been seen cannot be unseen.
I think Sideshow is glutton for punishment. How else would you explain the decision to go with that unnecessarily weird top lip?
I am going to hope that this is simply a case of pictures don't do this justice until it's in hand. I'll wait until I see in hand pictures before I make real decision about this piece. I have a feeling many others will be doing the same.
