This figure finally arrived today.. it Rawks! :rock

..also very pleased that there were no quality control issues, I ended up having to send back 1/4 Iron Man, Big Red Predator and Batman 66 over QC problems.. so if this had been a dud as well, I would probably have given up buying 1/4 NECA.. unless I was able to view the figure first in a shop, rather than ordering online.. and here in the UK, bricks and mortar outlets for Collectibles are fairly thin on the ground.

thinking about picking this guy up, as he is a worthy addition to my NECA-McF 1/4 scale 18" army i have amassed.

where's the best (cheapest) place to get him?

Hey friend,

Calendars.com is a great place to shop for Joker. Right now, it's $89.99 with free S&H but I'd recommend checking their site daily. They often have sales ranging from 10% to 30% off. A few months ago, I purchased the figure for $63 delivered.

thanks for the info, but it appears that Calendars.com is no longer carrying this figure.

The going rate seems to be $99 everywhere

Can I ask where you got him and how much?

Saw this figure in person at FYE. Like all NECA 18 inchers, the value is simply unmatched. Passed @ $119.99 + tax was a little more than I wanted to spend.

The head sculpt is really impressive, it would shine with a quality repaint. I love the expression. Very mean when displayed at eye level, with the downward head tilt. a little meaner than the Enterbay version (not more realistic due to the paints apps, but that can be changed)

I was really impressed with this guy's weight. The heaviest NECA 18" I've held. Even heavier than their Friday 13th Part 7 (pretty solid old school 18" figure) the ALIEN figure is heavy too but it's all the extra spikes, tail and ****, so not a fair comparison.

soon enough :impatient:

I got him from Forbidden Planet (.com) and at the time of posting, FP still have stock for £79.99 plus shipping.. you might be able to find him cheaper elsewhere, however prices on Evilbay seem to be getting more expensive.. probably not a figure to delay purchasing, if you want one for your collection.

I don't know why people don't like that joker...I buy one today and I can say that is amazing...

A lot of people don't like that he's wearing a plastic coat. Also the paint apps on the face might look too clean for some people. Usually the Joker's makeup was put on somewhat sloppy/chaotic. I love the NECA Joker but then again I don't have any Hot Toys or other high end toys so my standards are probably a lot lower than most. I'm expecting them to release a interrogation scene joker with messed up face paint/no over coat.

It is amazing... for what it is. I collect Neca 18"/Neca and other 7" scale figures along with Hot Toys 1/6 figures. No they are not Hot Toys quality as far as paint and sculpt. But they are the next best thing IMO. I am not going to spend $450-$500 on an Enterbay or Hot Toys 1/4 scale. If I was rich, sure I would definitely and I sure would rather have an Enterbay Joker then a Neca Joker.

Can we get some more pictures of this guy? Just like with the AO Batman it is hard to get a feel for this one based on the pictures so far. Some look good and others not so much. Flash photography can kill the presentation sometimes.

I like it. I think the sculpt looks great and the paint is pretty decent. The only thing that bugs me is the trench coat looking more like a fitted leather coat. I wish we could somehow get a fabric coat to go over it. I think Neca shoulf have done that and maybe left th rest sculpted. I still might pick him up soon tho.

A bank robber joker would be a cool addition.

Bale bats first please. I have this Joker and very happy with him. No way am I going to pay 600.00 plus for Enterbay's version. Is this perfect, no. But nice runner up for me.
