Am i the only one who sees Jack Nicholson joker in the head sculpt? Does not scream Arkham Joker to me.

I also agree that AA Joker head Sculpt have a likeness to Hottoys' Nicholson.

I'm hoping they release a variant of the original one because I'd rather have that to go with the comic Batman PF rather than buy a whole new Batman and Joker combo altogether. Was considering the 1/6 scale for those...

I didn't like the comic one all that much so I passed. I'm glad to see this. I think most whom bought that one will degrade other offerings no mater what. To each their own I say!

I know those Darksied fans must be wallet hurting as well.

I made the switch to 1/4 scale at a bad time haha, enjoyed a few of their last run of $400 and under PFs. Seems like there was a lot of great stuff in the past. I would love to get a Darkseid as well but yeah, that price point makes it hard. I have to be very selective now when it comes to what PF to add to the collection.

Hmm. My first impressions on this was that the sculpt looks amazing. I think the actual piece is better than the original pf for sure. I am concerned about the similarity to Jack Nicholson. It was the first thought I had when I saw the pics. If I never saw the original Batman movie I wouldn't find any fault here though. I think the costume and pose blows the original out of the water.

One thing I don't get is why is the laughing head the es? This is the picture they have been promoting and yet it is an exclusive? That's really harsh plugging of the product. I would expect the main pic, to be the regular and not the other way around. Definitely not worth buying without the es (first time I think I have thought this of a piece). As I'm in Aus, paying another $150.00 for the head sculpt unfortunately will bump me out of getting this now.

Seems this increase in pricing is the new norm. There has been a small trend of shifting prices upwards in the last 6 months. Boba Fett, Pinhead (probably most comparable with this piece), Darth Vader, Modern Age Batman and latest Darkseid. They threw in a couple of $400 ones to keep the scent of I think (Power girl and Classic Catwoman), but there is a clear trend happening. I guess they are just going to have accept lesser amounts of orders, but it seems a lot more people are holding back now. I would love to actually hear a clear explanation directly from them (unless I missed one already?). Very worrying.

Seems to be the new thing. Can't remember them doing it in the past but JSC BC tease pictures included the cat Ex piece.

Never noticed it looking like Nicholson until mentioned. Now I do see it, funny what you till someone points it out. This will look great with the modern age bats. Wish the price was 399.99 though. Oh well, still happy I preordered exclusive with head sculpt. A must have IMO.

The Joker PF is still pretty reasonable. Don't be fooled by the BIN prices. Look at the completed auctions. A REG can be had at a comparable price to this Arkham piece. While this Arkham Joker looks great, I'd still pick the original PF if I was forced to choose between the two of them.

Nice, where do you see that? Do you have a link? I actually don't really like the smirk on the EX head anyhow. Most of the ones I see on eBay have be displayed/used and I always worry about that because the Red Skull EX and some 1/6 HT I've bought used from eBay and they had a weird aroma/smell or there were some issues. There are two EX versions for $500 + shipping on eBay I see now. He isn't PVC or whatever, he's pretty solid like Batman right?

I wouldn't think so, the Arkam games are pretty stylized

It's a nice piece - however I'd wait until comic con (me personally) before making any new POs.

Modern Batman & Classic Catwoman are strong contenders right now but I haven't hit the PO link just yet.
