Hmm, isn't one of the belts supposed to be magnetized at the back? My sticky bomb guns don't seem to be sticking to any of them.

Finally upgraded my dx12 with the armory head! Quite the difference!

These are going for cheap, I just ordered the Batman/Armory set locally for $348. That's including 25% sales tax and shipping. Considering where I am that's super duper cheap. Someone beat me to an even greater deal though, the Batman/Bruce/Alfred/Armory went for ~$580. I now some of you in the thread have gotten those kind of deals but as I said this is including 25% sales tax and at the end of the world almost (Sweden). I would estimate that the "real" price for both these sets would be ~$110-$120 so that's a substantial reduction.

That makes me wonder how big a markup they have on these figures when selling directly. This is shipped to Sweden which wouldn't cost more than shipping anywhere else I guess, but then there is the 25% sales tax and still they will make money. There is probably some kind of distributor in the middle making money also before I get my grubby little hand on it.

They probably made way too many of these sets. They are clearly not selling.

The Nolan ship (while amazing) has sailed. Freaking 1/4 Bats can be had for less than retail of you look around. Bank Robber Joker? Don't even get me started. Bloke and Gordon? I doubt they are selling huge. The 1/12 Bat? LOL.

DX11 seems to be a bit pricier but I've seen decent deals on FB. I think the only one that's hard to come by at a decent price is the EB 1/4 Joker. I read somewhere that they didn't really made very many of those. Bill is a ******.

BIG :lecture. I've said this several times but a lot of people just feel that the steady price hikes come with the territory. I agree that increases in quality warrant price increases, but I think that the scales are starting to tip big-time now. HT grew into a beast of a company and you have to think that at this stage of the game, they are producing more efficiently than ever. So assuming that production costs are down, the increases are really becoming insulting.

A simple math problem: Sideshow gives their retailers a 30% discount. They make money on that. They also have to pay freight to get the cargo to Cali. So then what's Sideshow's price per set? Hot toys makes money selling to SS at that price. So what's HT's cost per set?!?!?!

Considering canceling my Rocket/Groot combo pack and getting this. but just the Batman single figure one. From what I read it looks like most everyone agrees its a great set and display. Is there any cons to getting this?
