It's great to see it's finally shipping. I need to wait for my Stormtrooper reward points to convert 40 days from sometime next week before purchasing. I hope it doesn't sell out. I will have to keep an eye out.

Excellent review man! Thoroughly enjoyed it, very professional, on point, clear and great photography. I'm so pumped for this now as if I wasn't before haha, glad to see the sculpt looking good in the video too!

I wanted to avoid the review video because I wanted to just be blown away without seeing any in hand stuff but the video really did get me more excited for this. I'm counting down the minutes until fedex shows up tomorrow and drops this off.

Ok so here's my impressions. This figure is truly friggin insane. I spent probably 2 hours messing around with it which is like 1.75 more hours longer than I would any other collectible. The amount of detail is insane, all the little warnings and paint and whatnot is awesome. The size of him is completely ridiculous. He's HUGE and weighs a ton compared to your average 1/6 figure. He towers over my hot toys which is awesome. All the tubes are rubber and you can reposition them if they pop out. The lights are super bright LED's and I love that the back of his helmet lights up. The weapons are super nice as well. His face sculpt is awesome as well. Very nice paintwork and my eyes were straight on. I can honestly say if you have Jim and tychus on display beside eachother, people will. price them. I even liked the box, nothing super complicated. Just the brown shipper and inside was the black Styrofoam case with a Raynor label wrapped around.

Now for my gripes. The British dude in the video said all the joints are loose. False. Aside from his feet, hands, and shoulders, all the joints are the click ones. Hips, knees, elbows, etc. Disappointingly though, my right hand is super weak. Like I'm talking he can't even hold his pistol without it drooping until its resting low. The weak wrist also makes it difficult to display the gauss rifle as it can pop out easy. His finger issued is easily solved. My middle finger had started to loosen from me futzing with the rifle. The fingers are held in by little pegs which easily slide back in and the finger tightens up again. My other issue is just posing. He's definitely top heavy and posing can be tough. Mine kinda leans to the left but I also haven't extinguished all posing possibilities, I kinda like how he looks. His helmet was also a HUGE pain in the ass to remove. They tell you to pinch the sides of it and pull but you really gotta reef on it but to be mindful of his mics. Eventually though I got it out and now it moves more freely. I just wish they had described it a little better in the instructions. I kept worrying I was gonna apply too much pressure and break it.

Other than those small issues, this figure could easily be FOTY. I can't wait to have him and tychus together.

So at five bills this still has loose joints? Just hearing that ticks me off. Is QC just a joke now? I'm glad you are ok with it Scareb but I would be pulling my hair out if I spent that much money on a figure and that happened.

It's really just the one hand. I'm probably gonna talk to sideshow tomorrow about getting a replacement and hoping that works. Worst case scenario maybe I put some super glue around the ball joint for the wrist to make it a bit thicker.

So far it's really just been me and the British dude with the issue. The other video made no mention at all of a loose joint. If everyone starts posting about it then it's a problem but if it's just a few, then I doubt it's anything to get up in arms about. Every production run can have some errors, it's inevitable.
