This is ridiculous. Frieza goes gold and not in a cool way, what an anticlimax. Even if theres more, this colour scheme is just dumb for him. Purple face and hands are ugly. Gokus god hair clashed with his gi. Apart from beerus and whis toriyamas making awful colour choices.

Can't wait for copper cell and turqoise buu.:facepalm

Old age is getting to him. Super Saiyan. Awesome. Super Saiyan 2. Electricity and spikier hair. Awesome. Super Saiyan 3. Long flowing golden locks, no eyebrows, deeper voice. Awesome. Super Saiyan God. Hot pink hair, weird eyes, less muscle.

Frieza. Gold.

Freeza's new form looks pretty cool. I think some of you were expecting to see Cooler 2.0 or something

The new trailer has been released and it seems that Goku got a serious wound on his chest just like Vegeta did on the Frieza saga. But this time Vegeta arrives later and start a fight with Frieza.

Yeah, it appears to be almost parallel with Goku and Vegeta changing roles.

Guess that debunks my interpretation Ang. Sucks. Seems ultimately it comes down to other movies of dbz: a waste of a great antagonist design.

Guess tht won't even be the case with this frieza. Don't get the purple face and hnds, it's ugly.

I think gold itself is a cool idea. But I think he shouldve changed form a bit, snd ffs dobaway with the purple hands and face.

This looks like a GT design. If you know me, you know how I mean that.

It just seems that people would be disappointed regardless of what Toriyama came up with. If he reused Cooler's 5th form then people would call it lazy. If he made it a giant monster then people would say his 2nd form still looked better. Give him wings, "lol looks like a Gargoyles ripoff, smh Toriyama you're losing your touch." Like with God mode, people were saying it should've resembled SSj4 but with gold hair, and even if it was just that, it would still be called a "lazy repaint"

While I understand and agree with a lot of your points...I feel recoloring is the laziest design of them all. There's no creativity expressed in that.

Hell, there was no point for Perfect Cell to have wings. Somehow the evolution from Imperfect to Semi-Perfect to Perfect was wings, no wings, wings. The overall design worked really well though.

This was his chance to express his creativity and, to me, he fell horribly flat.

I'm happy we're getting new Dragon Ball Z material, too. I just think Toriyama should allow others to use their creativity.

I get the simple design look but the thing that really throws it off are the colors. They just don't go well together. I'm glad to see that it's not a super shiny gold at least.

Could've been done better but hey, it's still a new DBZ movie at the end of the day. Looks really action packed and is probably gonna put BOG to shame

I'm not sure about the new Frieza, he doesn't look bad but he doesn't look at that interesting either. I do like the designs for Goku and Vegeta though in this and would definitely get them.
