Thanks guys......:) Now on to the background, I got some ideas to pull that of but I'm concerned about the BBQ....any of you know if Feroze is still around?? I want to ask him what materials to use.

He is around, but he is working on other stuff I believe. Shoot him a PM or look him up on Facebook. I'm sure he would help you out. :)

Jabba's Palace part 2....Added the backsteps and wall. All still a wip....

I'm still here, ask away- we made our spit from super sculpey grey, styrene and card.
Chain is lego, struts and poles bashed from Sideshow band instruments.

Reading this makes me think of some Roman soldier walking into the engineers that designed and constructed the Coliseum. ;)

"It looks spectacular. So please tell me, how was this made, what was used and how is it so beautiful and strong?"

"It's made of concrete."

Such a fine piece. It's 10% materials and 90% talent, bravo.

Pixel, cheers mate- All craft store materials; form-core sheets, card, wood-filler, wooden scaffold, super sculpey grey for the windows and deco, oil paint and zest for the stone/wood effects It was modified over a few years, it went from a shelf thing to a custom built table set-up to accommodate more figures.

Dutchman, thanks for the shout out, and apologies for the highjack. :wave

Glad you are still around, feroze!!! Actually Pixel may have a point about those Romans..... Absolutly no problem about posting on this thread. You can post those pics in any thread as far as I am concerned.....Any more of those "making of " bbq pics??

I'll have a look for more bbq wip stuff, there may well be some more, meanwhile, love the screen accurate bobbly relief material you used on the stairs.
I always wanted to do that, but got waylaid by using the dio as a giant play set. What material is it? Have to do that to ours!!
