Yeah, Im bumping an old thread.

As much as a Terminator fan I am Ive never fully analyzed the T-800 Endo. Having said that, I was wondering what the difference is between the the T-700 and T-800 besides color.

Been thinking about picking it up since it could be had for fairly cheap at times.

Pretty sure they share the same core molds. The major differences I am aware of are color, texture, and accessories. Texture is a big one. For some reason (even though it wasn't evident in the movies), the T-700 has all these little bumps on him.

Mods just never moved it across when they subdivided each section, same with loads of other action-figure threads.

Kara is correct about the differences. The T-700 doesn't come with any weapons I don't think (never bought him) but plasma rifle recasts etc can be bought on ebay.

But damn those promo-photos of the original HT endoskeleton really make it look toyish. It seriously needs chrome.

Yeah, you´re right.

Seems to be made outta a different material. T-800 has a so called hyper alloy (never made clear what it is comprised of) and the T-700 is said to be the first series of Series 800 terminators and are solely made for combat and have a more durable chassis.

I just googled a bit and on terminator.wikia (don´t know if legit), it is said that the structural difference stem from the production, so it could be from sparks and oil and other production-based staining.

Yeah, I hear ya but Im not shelling out what ever the hell that thing is going for these days.

Besides, all Endos are cool. Tbh despite what people may think of TS all the HT figures are awesome.

:exactly: still love my t-700 and t-600's are the bomb, great figures and works of enginering genius. The t-700 is still my wifes favorate along with the toyfair batman because she likes his butt:lol I missed out on the orginal hot toys t-800 endo and will wait for the long overdue version 2.0:impatient:

Here are my T-700 and T-600. I want to get the weapons duffle bag that the DX 13 uses for the mini gun, open it up and put like a cache of weapons in there to kinda bring the terminators together in my display since they are always procuring weapons on site. That's what I was going for with the base for the T-700 since he has no accessories and I have two terminator heads on the way to me the T-600 is already perfect to me.

Better necroposting than starting a new thread I say.

I like the concept T-600, I just have the regular versions - plain endo and standard-release Rubberskin version. Always liked the look of this one though with the gatling gun held like an assault rifle.
