Yeah, I noticed the loose threads as well... hopefully it's just left overs from assembly, and not the shirt fraying :lol

I'm a huge Plisskin fan but I may have to cancel this one. I'm not terribly impressed by what I'm seeing. :(

EDIT: Okay, I gave it another look and it's not as bad as my first impression. It's a good base and with some work can probably wow.

Just not as OCD as the average collector I assume.

If i were doing that review, i would have either photoshopped out stray threads in still images, or made sure they weren't visible in the video shots. After all, you're getting advance free copies of items in order to make a video that will sell it to customers on the fence. It pays to show it in the best possible light. Not in a fake way, but present it the best way it can be.

I hear ya. It doesn't change my want to purchase it, but it does leave others to worry about the tailoring and if it ends up coming apart after purchase.

It might not be an issue if you never take the shirt off. They mentioned in the review that the shirt is made of ultra stretchy material, and the zip details look sewed on, so it could be the removal and re-attachment of the clothing. Although it doesn't happen till halfway through the vid, that could just be editing, and they may have done that at the very beginning.
You never know.

Well if you can just leave it on with no issue, that's fine. If I do end up getting three of these, I only plan on taking the shirt off one of them, so we'll see then.

Of course. I personally have no plans to remove even the jacket, lol. So it will never be an issue for me!
I do have a custom thrown together of a black suit, black trenchcoat and the EFLA gun, and i'll pick up a separate sculpt when they hit the parters so i can display both together.

Yeah I do have the itch to make a LA custom... god that would be four Plisskens :lol

Look out!! He's going full a-dev! :rotfl

I also agree it felt like SS wrote the script for the Da Bomb review wow I had to mute it so I could just look at the figure.

Also +1 for Crawford my one and only trusted review site:lecture

:lol I gotta strike while the iron is hot, no more Snake's after this one probably.

Aww, yeah!

Is that going to be the rifle you use, or are you making another?

Drake is a mess. Although looked pretty good after a repaint, Galacticboy did a great job on it.

This is a good indication for Beetlejuice and Ash in the future.

Definitely picking up Ash and Beetlejuice, may not be Hot Toys or Enterbay quality but it's a step in the right direction

Well I liked the 2nd video, liked the eye placement: I hope mine is like that not looking up. WTF with the tailoring on the black shirt SS, piss poor stitching. Can't wait to read Michael's take on this figure--he will present a balanced review, warts and all.

I'm looking forward to getting mine in here - gotta see how that head sculpt looks in person.

And maybe that's why he doesn't get them as much :lol Although I do find him to be the most honest and balanced reviewer out there... and I appreciate how he captures what the figure really looks like. He really knows what he's doing :lecture

I appreciate everyone's comments - glad to know people are still finding the reviews useful. I wish I could get more early stuff too - there's a perception that I get all this free stuff all the time, and it's no where near reality - but I do the best I can, and I've always tried to be fair and unbiased.
