I liked the video review and I just think supes needs a more muscular body. Something like one of kaustiks muscular bodies. That scare me because it means that I'll have to unstich his costume and then resew the back into the new body. My seamstress skills are limited so it'll make for an interesting adventure.
Either that or we might have to convince Tony meis to whip up a new body suit and cape for supes.

Im pretty sure he will.

Hey, I'm on the east coast and got charged $16.00 shipping. I thought that was strange as I usually get charged $10.00 in shopping.

right. i thought it was $10.00 shipping within the US. this is why i look to other sites if at all possible. mine was $220.27 using $9.50 in points.

i mean $15.49 shipping to norcal vs $16.00 to the east coast?

im not even sure i need the metallo head. almost as useless as the battle damaged batman head.

Another thing I was wondering, I read a while ago that they reason many of these figures cost so much is because oil is used in their production. Now that the price of oil has gone down shouldn't the price of these figures drop instead of increase as they have been?

Man, where have you ever seen that happen? Prices go up, never down!:(

Maybe in six to eight months time. That's how long it will take them to be using the "cheaper" oil in production.
But they will never lower costs. It will always just rise. Look at the MK43...

Don't like how the waist is so thin. The belt and red underwear looks worse off than the DC Deluxe line and the cape setup is awful. The only thing salvageable is the comic version head sculpt and the boots. Now, if the cover art was an actual picture of the figure we were going to get then I would have bought it instantly.

So it's clear the review of the 1st guy was pretty good and it's just the figure that really sucks :lol

Man, I'm so sad, I really wanted to like this figure, I'll still wait for some in hand pics in this thread, but things aren't looking good.

I agree with everything you say.
We know they have the bulky body because it came out with batman.
I doubt anyone would have complained if they had used it with both figures.

Yup, the face for some reason looks hella weird to me too.

I'm thinking about passing on this altogether and just cross my fingers so Mezco releases a TDKR Superman in 1/12 :lol since they completely nailed Batman.

You mean MOS Superman?
Although i am still keeping my SS Superman, i reckon it's a little bit of a missed opportunity.
