1. Hellboy
2. Gladiator Hulk
3. Red Sonja
4. Captain America (only thing I don't like is the hunched over pose and the position of his left leg from the back view looks too scrunched up but otherwise a home run).

Red Sonja. I'd also say the JSC Spidey collection if you could count 3 as 1- together they are so amazing

Most Anticipated Green Hulk.

Just based on overall quality, I think this years honor should go to Gentle Giants Whisper variant which did get released. The paint application on that statue are second to none. Not only is it a sexy statue but it has lots of details to it.

I don't think the statues have to be perfect- the topic is nominate your favorite

"People's Choice Awards" vs "The Oscars" :lol

I bought a Whisper variant, easily the best statue I purchased this year. I have Artemisia, as well. However ,she has a paint thumb print on her face and chipped paint on her lips. Hopefully, I will be able to get a replacement. With that said, she stands out amongst the Sideshow females.
From Sideshow, Superman is obviously great as is GH, but my favorite from the year is the X-Force Deadpool. Looks like he walked straight out of the comics. I really have to disagree with Red Sonja being the top statue. My exclusive has the abs of a domestic violence victim. She needs a repaint. She looks like a zombie. The sculpt is ruined by the paint.

Red Sonja is up there, for me anyway.
I don't get all the critisism but maybe others weren't finished as well as mine.
Yeah she didn't have milky white skin but would she after a day on the battle field?
I think the skin tone, on mine anyway, reflects the smoky, dirty, enviroment she would be in.
A scenario also seen in the dirty snow on the base, something else some people complained about.

She is the most impressive, newly released, statue I received this year.

I love the tan. Granted I had a lower number, and if that is how it's processed, she was REALLY well done.

This.

I still haven't gotten this piece, but it's IMO a wonderfully done statue for all the reasons you state Col.

I'm still going with Hellboy for this year though.

It is a great statue if you got a great paint job. In addition to the problems I mentioned earlier, her legs below the thigh bands and head are a different skin shade. Feel lucky if you did not get a bad paint job. I saw the same thing happen with Apocalypse. He looks great when he has no paint issues. Considering that many of us did not receive the best quality Red Sonja, Iron Man Mark VII LSF, or Apocalypse, they should not get the best statue of the year. Others were much more consistent.
